Lu Yahui — momentarily in high spirits — held two jade lions in her palms. Squinting her eyes and looking at the bright red bills piled up as high as a mountain on the table, she seemed to be floating in cloud nine.    

"To think the day would come when Third Brother and his son would bow their heads and apologize in front of our family!" Lu Yahui exclaimed with a proud expression.    

Zhang Qimo too said with a bright smile, "That's right, our family has finally attained justice!"

"Everything was made possible by my daughter," Lu Yahui stated and burst into a fit of laughter. "Third Brother's family will not dare to offend us anymore. They actually visited our house personally, compensated for their wrongdoings, and even kneeled down to apologize to us. Hahaha!"    

"Qimo, you must definitely act with utmost caution in the company from now on. Make sure to not reveal anything that others might utilize against you. That third brother of mine... isn't someone who can be looked down upon," Zhang Xiufeng said seriously.    

"That's right. Third Brother is good at acting not only on the surface but even behind the scenes. He will definitely not let this matter go easily," Lu Yahui warned in a serious tone. "However, our daughter is now a popular member of the corporation. Since she has already made a name for herself in the jewelry industry of East Sea Province, it won't be easy for Third Brother to settle things with our family."    

As she spoke, Lu Yahui suddenly thought of something. She then looked at Lin Yin impatiently and said, "Who allowed you to talk so much today? Since you don't have any capabilities, you had to rely on Qimo's name and status to put on that act of yours, huh? Qimo hasn't even uttered a single word, yet you claimed to be speaking on her behalf?"    

"Lin Yin, allow me to give you a word of advice. In the future, you better not use Qimo's name to cause trouble outside. You just have to do your job as her assistant. All you have to do is serve Qimo well with the daily tasks and make sure that nothing goes wrong," Lu Yahui lectured him.

Lin Yin did not say anything and walked straight to the kitchen.    

"What Lin Yin said today is right. You should also act more courteous in front of people," Zhang Xiufeng said.    

"Do you think I'm bullying him?" Lu Yahui looked unhappy and said in a low voice. "I'm simply helping my daughter pave the way. Do you not understand what you saw today? Lin Yin is quite the mischievous one."    

Lu Yahui continued, "If I don't teach him a lesson now, he will not understand his place in our family in the future. I will make sure that he understands how he will have to rely on our daughter if he wants to keep living a good life!"    

"Qimo, you better not spoil him too much in the future. You are the director while he is a mere assistant," Lu Yahui stated with a sharp-witted tone. "If he does well, you may reward him. If he dares to act presumptuous, on the other hand, don't hesitate to kick him out. With your current status and reputation, how could Lin Yin be worthy of you?"    

Zhang Xiufeng pondered for a moment before saying, "Now that I look closer at him, Lin Yin has change quite a bit from his past self. In fact, he seems to be quite clever with his words.    

"He's simply a useless wimp. If he had not rely on Qimo's name today, how would he have dared to talk to Zhang Hongxuan like he did?" Lu Yahui stated indifferently.    

"Besides, since our daughter has made a name for herself, there will naturally be a lot of young masters looking to chase after her. When our daughter finds someone she likes, we will have to kick Lin Yin out of the house."

"Director Lin, I am the general manager of the Marine Real Estate Company, Jiang Qi. Xiao Li mentioned how he had neglected you during your previous visit. Thus, I came over in person to apologize to you. Please do not mind him," the young man said politely.
