2"Grandpa, we have a problem" - said Gary as he entered Professor Oak's lab, and saw with surprise a familiar person - "Old man!"

"Hello, Gary" - smiled Kurama as he saw the professor's grandson - "How have you been?"

"Well, working as my grandfather's assistant is fun, and now I understand a lot of things about Pokémon that I didn't before" - replied Gary while frowning - "And as much as I like seeing you again, I came to warn you that something is going on in the vicinity..."

"I know, Kurama-san just informed me the reason for this" - Oak replied as he explained to his grandson what had happened.

Gary was silent before picking the bridge of his nose - "I understand..."

"You're taking it better than I thought" - Kurama said with a small smile.

"I've had much stranger things happen to me, like the time I went along with Ash's idea to go to that city, and we ended up traveling back in time, I even ran into a young version of my grandfather" - Gary replied as he gave his father figure a blank stare - "Seriously, that idiot is a magnet for weird situations."

"Pff" - Kurama let out a laugh as this was something he felt would happen to Ash - "Thanks, I needed that laugh."

Gary smiled slightly as Oak pondered that maybe it would be a good idea for Kurama to adopt his grandson. He had been thinking about this ever since they talked on the Indigo Plateau, though he hadn't been able to bring it up because Kurama disappeared right afterward, though now that the dimensions had blended, this option was on the table again.

Oh, don't misunderstand, Samuel Oak loved his grandchildren, but at the same time he knew that he had failed them, especially Gary. He was mostly in his lab while Gary suffered from loneliness until Ash took him to his family. His son died too early, to the point that Gary only remembered him by the pictures that were in his home, though that was only a painful reminder of what he once could have been.

"Kurama, I'd like to talk to you alone," Oak said as he looked at the silver-haired man.

Kurama raised an eyebrow before nodding and following the old professor.

The two reached a far corner of the lab, and Oak quickly explained what was going through his mind.

Kurama let out a sigh before shaking his head.

"You don't accept?" - Oak asked with a frown.

"For a genius, you're pretty stupid, professor" - said Kurama as he shook his head - "What Gary needs, is not a new father, but someone to guide him, I fulfilled that mission when he was a child, but now it's your job as his grandfather, besides, I'm sure that even if he's happy to hear that I want to adopt him, he would refuse to do it because no matter what happened in the past, they are his parents, and you are his grandfather."

Oak was silent before shaking his head - "I know, but I've seen how much he misses them."

"Look, I can do it, but first let's see what Gary thinks" - Kurama said as he shook his head - "Although if he refuses, it's not going to change anything"

Oak nodded before calling his grandson over.

"What's wrong grandpa, old man?" - Gary asked in surprise.

Oak looked at his grandson before explaining the situation, noticing how the boy frowned slightly.

"What did you say, old man?" - Gary asked as he looked at Kurama.

"That you possibly won't accept because you already have a father," Kurama replied as he folded his arms.

Gary nodded at these words before looking at his grandfather - "I don't want to be adopted, besides, I don't want to leave Daisy alone."

"True" - Oak nodded with a small smile.

"That aside, I want to thank you for thinking so much of me, but like I said, I don't want to be adopted because despite everything, I have the best family I could ask for, along with a kind uncle who was always there for me" - said Gary with a small smile - "You know me well, old man"

"Of course, you are like a son to me, so I have to be attentive to what you need" - said Kurama while stroking the boy's hair.

"Tch, I'm not a child, so stop treating me like one" - Gary snorted as he folded his arms in annoyance, though the two adults could tell how the young man was smiling.

"En, now that the dimensions have merged, and I no longer work for the league, I think it's time for me to go back to being a Pokémon researcher" - said Kurama as he shook his head - "A field one."

"It's good to hear that you're returning to the job, I mean, the others must also be waiting for an update on your research on the biology of legendary Pokémon" - said Oak as he let out a laugh.

"Mew ~!" - the trio looked back and saw little Mew who had been circling around Mewtwo.

"Oh, if you're here, it means my old friend is nearby" - said Kurama with a small smile.

[It's good to see you again, master] - said Mewtwo as he looked at the human who had pulled him out of the abyss of confusion.

"Mewtwo, I released you after my family moved to my dimension" - said Kurama as he shook his head.

[I said it before, and I'll say it again, you will always be my master, and now that you're back, I want to fight by your side again] - said Mewtwo as he folded his arms - [And I'm not taking no for an answer].

"Seriously, you should take more advantage of your freedom, get to know the world, especially now that our dimensions merged" - said Kurama while shaking his head.

[I thought about it once, but then I decided not to because it's possible that other humans might try to capture me, and seeing that Masterball exists, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened] - replied Mewtwo while frowning.

Kurama shook his head when he heard this, though he had to admit the possibility existed - "I understand, I'm going to recapture you, though just so you can travel without fear of being captured."

Mewtwo smiled slightly before being sucked back into his old Pokeball.

Kurama shook his head before releasing Mewtwo from his Pokeball - "Seriously, there are times when I think you're too stubborn, old friend."

[Same to you, master] - Mewtwo replied as the two began to laugh. The genetic Pokémon had to admit that he missed these kinds of conversations.

"One would expect nothing less from those people who have such a powerful bond as to be able to Mega Evolve" - Oak said as he shook his head - "I guess you'll be able to travel the world without fear now?"

[True, though I don't plan to do so at the moment] - replied Mewtwo while looking at his friend - [By the way, I felt a huge pressure before coming to this place].

"Possibly, this is due to Dialga and Palkia's intervention" - replied Kurama as he pondered - "Anyway, I'll invite you to eat at my place to meet the rest of my family."

"Won't that be too much trouble?" - Oak asked with concern.

"Of course not, though you'd better call Daisy, I'm sure she has to be confused about the change on the planet" - said Kurama before disappearing, though not before taking Orochimaru with him.

"Gary, I want you to call your sister, I have to talk to the other professors and the Pokémon league to get them as soon as possible to calm people down" - said Professor Oak seriously.

"Ok" - nodded Gary seriously.

* * * * *

Two days had passed and the news of the merger between two dimensions had spread to all corners of the Pokémon world.

The inhabitants of the different regions quickly adapted to the new situation, after all, there weren't many changes, except for the appearance of humans with Pokémon characteristics, although there wasn't much trouble over this because the Yokai were friendly and patient enough to explain what they were and their abilities.

Kurama was bonding with Lusamine and the others in order to adjust his memories.

That aside, the children of the clan started traveling to become Pokémon masters while Naruto let out a sigh because honestly, this was unfair. The whole time he was playing the idiot, nothing had happened, but the moment he took over the clan, a new dimension would merge with theirs and interesting creatures would appear that he wouldn't be able to train freely because he was busy with the clan's problems.

Kurama smiled slightly when he heard this while the other women laughed at the predicament of the heir of the Uzumaki clan, who was cursing his bad luck.
