2"An interesting way to fight" - Kurama said while stroking his chin.

A day had passed since Kagome had decided to accept her fate, mostly because it was obvious that nothing was going to change unless she did something, and ignoring the situation would only endanger her family, that's why she had decided to accept Kaede's proposal to train.

"We, the priestesses, use our spiritual abilities to imbue our arrows with spiritual power and be able to attack our supernatural enemies, as for melee combat, we try to do it as little as possible, although if it were to be the case, then we just have to use talismans" - Kaede answered while sighing with regret - "As for the monks, they use their spiritual power to strengthen their body and thus fight directly against the Yokai."

"The priestesses can't strengthen their body with spiritual power?" - Kurama asked while raising an eyebrow.

"It is possible, though it entails too much training, mostly because we have our spiritual core in a different place than the monks" - Kaede answered as she shook her head - "Our spiritual concentration gathers in our heads, while the monks' gathers in their stomachs."

Kurama nodded when he heard this, although it was a bit strange, that's why he hypothesized that it was the training method that decided where the spiritual concentration would be.

"This is difficult..." - Kagome muttered with a frown as she tried to concentrate her supposed spiritual power on the tip of her arrow, which only ended in no apparent change.

"That's strange, with your spiritual power this training shouldn't be hard to overcome" - Kaede said as she frowned - "Am I ignoring something?"

"Hmm, I think it's because she doesn't know the basics of the art of exorcism" - replied Kurama while stroking her chin - "Let's see, before this training, there has to be some kind of introduction or training beforehand, right?"

"Oh, you have a point" - nodded Kaede while coughing to drive away the embarrassment she felt - "Sorry, I forgot that you don't concentrate your spiritual power into a core yet, that's why you can't concentrate your power well in your arrows..."

"Are you kidding me!" - Kagome exclaimed angrily because this was ridiculous. She had been a training that made no sense because she still didn't complete the requirements to even begin it.

"Sorry, age is getting the better of me" - Kaede replied with embarrassment.

"Ok, I think we better calm down" - Kurama said as he tried to relax the poor girl - "I know you have reason to be upset, but you can't get mad because of an innocent mistake, I'm sure Kaede-san didn't think to teach you the basics because with the huge spiritual pressure inside you, she unconsciously thought that you had already formed your core."

Kagome fell silent after calming down before looking at Kaede, who quickly nodded, after all, Kurama's words had hit the point. She had actually thought that Kagome had created her core, though now that she thought about it that shouldn't be possible because the girl from the future hadn't done any prior training - "I'm sorry."

"Ugh, I can't get mad when there's a logical reason behind your actions" - sighed Kagome, who despite being a bit annoyed, couldn't take all her frustrations out on an old woman who was only trying to help her.

"Again, I apologize, Kagome" - said Kaede while shaking her head - "I'm not going to lie that what Kurama-san said is true, although there is another reason why I decided to jump right into this training."

"Is it because she's the reincarnation of your sister?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, Kikyo was always a prodigy in the spiritual arts" - Kaede replied as she reminisced about the past - "That's why I thought she would be the same."

"Well, I'm sorry for disappointing you" - Kagome said sarcastically as she felt a strange frustration.

"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself, you and your past life are two different people, both in personality, and abilities" - said Kurama calmly - "I'm telling you from experience, after all, I am the second reincarnation of a demigod."

"Huh?" - the two priestesses could only say that while looking at Kurama as if he had sprouted a second head.

"This is annoying" - growled Inuyasha, who was watching as everyone was whispering amongst themselves as he and Izumi walked through the village.

Izumi frowned when she heard the derogatory words they were giving them, though she quickly decided to ignore them, after all, she didn't need to pay attention to the opinion of the weak, much less when they're jerks - "You should just ignore them"

"I've tried hundreds of times, but those idiots always seem to want me to kill them" - Inuyasha replied irritably - "Every time I walk away to be left alone, they chase me and start yelling insults, throwing rocks at me, amongst other things, that's why I hate humans so much"

"Is that why you wish to become a full Yokai?" - Izumi asked as she watched the boy nod - "And what about your mother, are you prepared to throw away the most important connection you have with her?"

Inuyasha froze when he heard this.

Izumi's words seemed to have made him see something he hadn't thought of, or rather, something he had decided to ignore in order to be better with himself.

"I..." - Inuyasha didn't know what to say when he heard this, after all, no matter how much he hated humans for everything they had done to him during his life, he couldn't hate his mother, the only person who hadn't betrayed him, the woman who had given her life for him.

"Inuyasha, what you seek is not to be a Yokai, what you desire is a place to belong, and that place will come soon, Tousan already decided that he would create an empire for our people" - Izumi smiled as she looked towards the sky.

"He wasn't saying that as a joke?" - Inuyasha asked in surprise.

"No, he meant it seriously, and when Tousan promises something, he keeps it even if it takes a while" - replied Izumi with a smile.

Inuyasha was silent before nodding firmly - "I guess I'm going to help."

Izumi smiled slightly because she could notice some changes in the boy thanks to her short, but necessary influence.

Inuyasha didn't notice how much Izumi's presence was changing him and helping him overcome his turbulent past.

"I knew you had it in you, Kagome" - Kaede said with a smile seeing how quickly her sister's reincarnation had created her spiritual core - "With this, your foundation is firm, and you can continue with your training."

"I think that's enough for today" - Kurama said as he shook his head. He could feel the tiredness and the growing frustration in the girl - "She needs to rest, besides, it's not good to rush things"

"You're right" - Kaede muttered before nodding.

Kagome let out a sigh of relief as she stretched on the ground, completely ignoring that her clothes weren't the most suitable for this kind of situation.

Kurama raised an eyebrow at the sight of the girl's blue striped panties before turning away.

"Ahem! Kagome..." - Kaede said as she looked at the girl, who quickly understood what had happened.

Kagome could feel her face flush with embarrassment, after all, it was the first time a boy had seen her underwear, though it wasn't like she could be upset with Kurama when he wasn't the one responsible for her actions, and at least he had the decency to turn away.

"I want to die" - Kagome muttered with a red face.

"It could be worse" - Kaede replied as she watched the girl start to scream out of embarrassment, more when she noticed how Kurama had disappeared.

"God, this couldn't be worse!" - Kagome shouted with a mixture of embarrassment and fury.

"Oh, this is unexpected," said Izumi as she looked at the girl from the future.

"Izumi-san!" - Kagome exclaimed in surprise - "Wait, that means..."

"Hey, Izumi, why did we come back here?" - Inuyasha asked as he walked over to the girl, only to see the scene before him - "What's wrong with that idiot, and why is she showing her crotch?"

"Kya!" - Kagome's scream echoed through the place, only for after a few seconds the sound of something hitting the ground multiple times to echo through the place along with Inuyasha's moans of pain.

"There are times when it's better not to say anything" - Kaede sighed as she watched the girl use the "technique" she had taught Kagome.

"Down! Down! Down! Down! Down! Down! Down!" - Kagome exclaimed red-faced as Inuyasha sank lower and lower to the ground.

"W-Why?" - Inuyasha muttered awkwardly, not noticing how Izumi smiled with amusement.
