2Kurama smiled slightly as he watched his daughter put the boy aside and appeared at his side - "Did you have fun?"      0

"It's a little weird" - Izumi replied honestly.

"Hey, I'm not weird!" - Inuyasha exclaimed angrily, such it seemed that those words made him regain control of his emotions.

"Sure, dog boy" - replied Izumi with disdain.

Inuyasha was about to explode, when he remembered that this strange girl was standing next to a monster, so he quickly got on his guard because there was no way he would let the opportunity to take the pearl slip away.

"Who are you?" - Kaede asked apprehensively.

"Me? My name is Kurama Uzumaki" - Kurama replied as he stroked his chin - "Patriarch of the Uzumaki clan."

"I want to know the race!" - Kaede exclaimed in fear and curiosity.

"Oh, well, I'm a Kitsune" - replied Kurama as he watched his daughter release her ears and 3 fox tails.

Inuyasha looked at Izumi in surprise as he felt his heart pounding, she was not only a Hanyo like him, but also her race was slightly similar to his own.

Well, he technically wasn't wrong because dogs and foxes were part of the canids.

"No, you're not a Kitsune.... You're a Kyubi!" - Kaede exclaimed seriously as she backed away slightly, because even though Kitsune weren't that strong.

Kurama just smiled when he heard this as Kagome looked at the handsome white-haired man with surprise - "Are you a Kyubi?"

"No" - Kurama replied as he stuck out his fox ears along with 10 furry tails - "I'm a Jubi."

"T-T-T-Ten tails?!" - Kaede exclaimed as her face paled.

Inuyasha's expression paled. Like Hanyo, he knew of a few legendary monsters, and the Kyubi was one of them, but here was a Kitsune who had broken the stigma that 9 was the maximum number of tails possible, making him far more dangerous than a normal Kyubi.

"Now from what I heard from you, this thing is the Shikon Pearl, though honestly rather than a mystical artifact capable of supposedly having unlimited power, it looks like a toy" - Kurama said neutrally as he looked closely at the sacred stone - "What is interesting, though, is that the creator is still fighting that demon."

Kaede's eyes widened in surprise when she heard this because she didn't expect someone to discover the secret of the pearl. She only knew about it because her older sister told her about it because it was possible for her to take her place in the future, though after Kikyo decided to burn herself along with the pearl to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands, this possibility disappeared.

"Ok, I think that's enough, I'd like one of you to guide me back home because this is all crazy" - Kagome said as she looked around - "Pearls with mystical powers? Monsters? A dog boy full of fleas and now human foxes? I feel like I'm going crazy if I accept all this!"

Kurama let out a small laugh before shaking his head - "From your clothes I can sense that you're not from this era."

"Huh? How do you know?" - Kagome asked in surprise.

"I have my ways" - Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Then do you know how I can return home?" - Kagome asked with slight hope.

"The quickest way would be by the same method you used to come to this time, and if my deduction doesn't fail me, you would have to use this as a catalyst to return home" - Kurama replied as he showed her the pearl.

"Uh..." - Kagome didn't know what to say when she heard this, so she decided to ask him if she could return the pearl to him nicely.

"Sure, I don't need this thing, besides, I can't let a young girl like you, in a place like this" - Kurama replied as he appeared in front of Kagome, who blushed when she saw how handsome the male Kitsune was.

"Uh, thank you" - Kagome muttered with a red face.

Inuyasha frowned as he felt strange at the sight that this girl who was practically a copy of the woman he loved years ago was blushing with another man, though he quickly shook his head, so he could push these thoughts away.

"Wait, if that Kitsune returns the pearl to her, it will be much easier to steal it, I mean, comparing the danger of an inept girl like that copy of Kikyo, is less than that of a Daiyokai" - Inuyasha thought excitedly.

"Will you return the pearl to her, just like that?" - Kaede asked with surprise because she didn't expect a Yokai to be so indifferent with such a high-powered artifact.

"Sure, this thing is of no use to me at all" - replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders - "I have to warn you about something though."

"Huh? Oh, please tell me" - Kagome said with a small grateful smile.

"I recommend you to be careful in your era, and start training because from what I can see, this thing attracts my kind" - Kurama replied while pointing at the dog boy, who quickly averted his gaze because he didn't want to gain the attention of the ten-tailed Kitsune.

"Train?" - Kagome repeated as she frowned - "Why?"

"Because the moment you return to your era using the pearl, you will leave the portal open" - Kurama replied as he shrugged - "That's how it works in this kind of situation."

Kagome paled when she heard this as she looked at Kaede, who shook her head because she wasn't sure Kurama was telling the truth."

"Tousan isn't lying, he's an expert in dimensional travel, and space-time movements" Izumi replied as she frowned as skepticism showed on the faces of the two women.

"Tousan!" - Kagome, Kaede and Inuyasha exclaimed in surprise at the sight of the girl.

"Is he your father?" - Kagome asked to make sure.

"Yes, his body changed slightly when we came to this place, that's why he looks so young" - Izumi replied as she tilted her head to the side.

"Wait... You mated with a human?" - Inuyasha said as he ignored the annoyed looks from the women because they honestly didn't care in the slightest. He just wanted to know the reason why the ten-tailed Kitsune had done it.

"Of course, she is one of the most important people in my life, after all, she is the mother of my princess" - Kurama smiled as he watched Izumi tilted her head so no one would see her red face.

Inuyasha remained silent because he didn't understand why his situation was so different.

Izumi seemed happy and her father supported her, while he and his mother were treated like garbage throughout his childhood - ". . ."

"Are you okay?" - Izumi asked as she appeared in front of Inuyasha.

"It's not fair..." - Inuyasha muttered as he gritted his teeth - "It's not fair! Why are our situations so different if we have the same origin!"

Kurama was silent as Kaede frowned. She had heard a little about Inuyasha from Kikyo, though it wasn't much because her older sister respected her crush's privacy, though now she saw that the Hanyo wasn't as evil as she had heard after the battle he had with her sister.

"I don't know, but things can get better, you just have to look around and find for someone who understands you and extend his hand to you" - Izumi answered as she gave him her hand.

Inuyasha was silent as he gritted his teeth before roaring with fury - "I don't want your pity, I just want the pearl to become a true Yokai! I want to leave this weakness that is my human part, I want to destroy it to stop suffering, I want to be part of something, not just an outcast for my two inheritances!"

"Hybrids are discriminated against?" - Kurama asked with slight fury because the vast majority of his children were hybrids.

"That's horrible..." - Izumi said as she looked at the dog boy with regret.

"Don't look at me like that, I don't want your pity!" - Inuyasha roared as he felt his fury grow drastically.

"The Hanyo are neither human, nor Yokai, that's why they are discriminated against because of their two heritages" - Kaede answered honestly, worrying because she could feel the growing hatred Kurama was releasing, not towards her, but to the current society.

"You are wrong, the Hanyo are much more than you think, they have the strengths of the two races, that makes them superior" - Kurama replied neutrally as he looked at the dog boy - "They have the powers of their Yokai parent, and they have the conscience, heart and ability to adapt of their human parent."

Inuyasha looked up and watched Kurama in surprise as he was the first Yokai to support his kind.

"I've already decided what I'm going to do" - Kurama said as he looked at his daughter - "Until we can return home, I'm going to create a place for your kind."

"You're crazy..." - Inuyasha said as he gave Kagome a look before silently retreating. He didn't have the urge to try and take the pearl after showing such a demeaning appearance for one of his kind.

"Tousan..." - Izumi said as she looked at her father.

"Go, I'm sure he will talk with you" - Kurama replied with a smile, after all, only someone in his same place can understand what's going on in his head.
