Extra 19: Change the world (1)

3"Well, at least it's you, daughter" - Kurama said as he sighed seeing that he had had another accident with his teleportation seals, which honestly was the third one this week, which made it a recurring accident, in fact, he was sure that god was giving him the middle finger with all the problems he had been having during the last month with these trips to other dimensions.

"Where are we, Tousan?" - A pretty black haired girl with red locks asked. She was about 15 years old and was wearing a black kimono with the symbols of the Uzumaki and Uchiha clan.

"I don't know, Izumi-chan" - Kurama replied while frowning - "Although it's obvious that it's not our world because I don't sense any chakra signature, although what I can detect, is a powerful Youki."

"Can we go home?" - Izumi asked as she looked at her father.

"No, dimensional travel always destabilizes my chakra, making it almost impossible to return unless a good amount of time passes" - replied Kurama as he shook his head.

"Is that why you look so young?" - Izumi asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, it's a side effect that happens to me most of the time I enter another dimension, I honestly don't understand why" - replied Kurama as he looked at his body, which looked to be about 18 years old, though it wasn't like there was much difference from his normal appearance of 25 years old.

"So, shall we check the area to gather information?" - Izumi asked excitedly because it was her first time going on an adventure with her father, at least to another dimension.

"Of course" - smiled Kurama as he closed his eyes, so he could expand his senses - "Over there."

"Ok!" - Izumi replied with a happy smile.

Kurama and Izumi quickly ran towards a nearby village, only to see how in the distance there seemed to be a big battle going on.

"Tousan..." - Izumi said with a frown - "I can feel a huge source of power in that direction."

Kurama raised an eyebrow before narrowing his eyes - "Ho ~?"

"What is it that you can feel, Tousan?" - Izumi asked curiously.

"I can feel a collision of ideals within that strange power source, a good part, and a bad part, fighting for control" - Kurama replied as he started to think - "The good part is winning, possibly because of the person who owns that treasure, though I'm a bit worried"

"About what?" - Izumi asked as she looked at her father.

"That stone seems to be on the level of one of the items that belonged to the Rikudou Sennin (Sage of the Six Paths), which makes it potentially dangerous to anyone who possesses it" - Kurama replied as he frowned - "Maybe I should take possession of it to keep it safe, I mean, I'm sure this world will be much better off without the intervention of that thing, more so with all the possibilities I can see from so far away."

Kurama had the particular ability to be able to faintly glimpse the possible paths a decision could take, though he couldn't see further than a few months, though that was more than enough to be able to make a decision and prepare for the possible consequences.

"Shall we go?" - asked Izumi as she looked at her father.

"Sure" - answered Kurama as the two of them ran to where the fight was happening.

* * * * *

This was not a good day for Kagome.

She had been helping her grandfather clean the temple when she heard a sound from the strange sealed well that her family had supposedly been guarding for generations. Out of sheer curiosity, she approached, thinking that some helpless animal had fallen in, though what she didn't expect, was for her to be attacked by a strange woman a hundred feet away, and brought back to the Sengoku period.

And if things were bad, now everything was much worse because that monster had managed to devour the strange pearl that was on her, even though she had no idea that she had it.

Oh, and things were getting worse with that strange silver-haired, dog-eared boy on her head, the same one who was sealed with an arrow in a nearby tree.

"What are you waiting for, release me, or we'll both die!" - The dog boy exclaimed.

"Don't do it, don't release Inuyasha!" exclaimed an elderly woman.

"Keep quiet, old woman, if she doesn't release me, not only will that thing kill us, but also your whole filthy village!" - Inuyasha exclaimed as he looked at the woman who looked and smelled similar to the woman who had sealed him, albeit with some slight differences - "Now, release me or die, you decide!"

Kagome bit her lip before walking to the arrow and pulling it out without much difficulty.

"I knew it" - Inuyasha smiled as he felt himself quickly regaining his body's mobility.

"I see you're breaking free, you, stinking hybrid" - said the centipede woman in a distorted voice - "That changes nothing now that I possess the unlimited power of the Shikon Pearl!"

"That doesn't matter, because zero, is still zero!" - Inuyasha exclaimed as he leapt at his opponent and slashed at the monster's arms.

The creature didn't even seem to feel pain as its multiple limbs were severed - "That's all?"

Inuyasha frowned when he heard this, more so when he saw how the parts he had severed, once again rejoined the creature's body, thus returning to its original state - "That's an annoying ability."

"Don't you understand, with the Shikon Pearl, I am invincible, eternal!" - exclaimed the centipede woman, though her expression changed as she felt her energy-filled body, seeming to be draining little by little.

Inuyasha opened his eyes, shocked at what he had just seen, after all, he had noticed how a silhouette had pierced the creature's body and ripped off a piece of its flesh.

"M-My... pearl...!" - exclaimed the centipede woman weakly, and with those words, Inuyasha understood what had happened - "No!"

"Hmm, interesting, this little gem is much more powerful than I thought, though it's no big deal..." - Said a male voice.

Inuyasha quickly looked in the direction of the voice, only to feel his pupils constrict because he could feel an enormous demonic power coming from that young man who was about his age.

"Wow!" - Kagome said as she saw the handsome man who had appeared out of nowhere.

"This power, there is no mistake, he is a Yokai..." - Kaede muttered as she felt her body unconsciously trembling - "And not just an ordinary one.... He is a Daiyokai..."

Kurama was toying with the strange pearl, completely ignoring how the centipede woman was slowly approaching.

"Watch out!" - Kagome exclaimed as she watched the monster leap at the handsome young man.

Kurama looked at the creature with boredom - "Izumi, you can have fun."

"Hai ~!" - Izumi exclaimed as he appeared beside his father and slashed the ugly creature with one of his twin swords, the Kiba's his father had collected years ago.

"This scent, she looks just like me..." - Inuyasha said in surprise as he sensed the mixed scent in the aura of this strange black haired girl with red locks, though now that he felt it right, he could sense the man's aura on the girl, though this was not because they were a couple, but because the girl seemed to come from the same background - "Brothers?"

Inuyasha quickly shook his head before taking a few steps back because he could feel the huge difference between abilities, something he hadn't felt even with his brother, and that he was the most powerful Yokai he knew.

"M-My... pearl..." - The centipede woman muttered before her body turned to ash.

"She was that weak? What a disappointment" - Izumi said with boredom before looking at Inuyasha with interest - "Ho ~? Are you like me?"

Inuyasha just kept silent before jumping back when he saw the girl appear a few feet in front of him at an impressive speed - ". . ."

"Hmm" - Izumi smiled slightly, something that embarrassed the young Hanyo, after all, it was the first time someone had given him such an innocent smile in years, more so as he remembered that Kikyo wasn't the most expressive girl he knew - "Hello, I'm Izumi Uzumaki."

"Inuyasha" - Inuyasha replied quietly as he frowned because he was acting strange.

Izumi tilted her head to the side, confused by the boy's attitude, ignoring the internal struggle he was having.

"Why am I acting like this?" - Inuyasha thought apprehensively - "Is it perhaps because we have a similar background?"

Kurama watched this with mild interest, after all, it was the first time his daughter was showing so much attention to a boy, and if he was honest, he was beginning to think his princess was a lesbian, though if he was honest, it wasn't like it was a problem, he would support her no matter who his daughter loved, after all, she was daddy's little girl, his princess, the proof of the love between him and Mikoto.

"Child, we have to take the pearl away from him, we can't let someone like him possess the unlimited power of the Shikon Pearl" - Kaede said with concern.

"Huh?" - that was all Kagome could say.
