Extra 18: It's time to d-d-d-d-duel (2)

0"Now, I equip [Kekkei Genkai: Kongo Fusa] to my [Ninja Kitsune Kushina]!" - Kurama said with a small smile - "[Seal]!"     1

* * *

[Kekkei Genkai: Kongo (Equip Magic)]

Can only be equipped to a Ninja Kitsune monster, increases attack by 200 points for each Ninja Kitsune in field. Once per turn you can negate the effect of a monster and all monsters sharing this name.

* * *

"Thanks to the effect of [Kongo Fusa], my Kushina gains 200 points for each Kitsune Ninja, and I can choose one monster to negate its effects, as well as all monsters that share that name" - Kurama said as he watched from Kushina's back, golden chains burst out and surrounded Yugi's two Valkyries.

[Ninja Kitsune Kushina] Atk: 1000 → 1400.

"Impressive, but your monsters still can't defeat my Valkyries" - Yugi said as he excitedly waited for the white-haired young man's next move.

"I now activate the magic [Jutsu: Kage Bunshin], which allows me to choose a monster [Ninja Kitsune] and summon as many tokens with the same name and stats of my chosen monster as possible" - said Kurama seriously.

* * *

[Jutsu: Kage Bunshin]

Select a [Ninja Kitsune] monster on your side of the field and create as many [Kitsune Clone] tokens with the same name and characteristics as the selected monster, after the resolution of this card, you can only special summon [Elemental Ninja] monsters. You can only activate [Jutsu: Kage Bunshin] once per turn.

* * *

[Kitsune Clone (Ninja Kitsune Kurama)]

No effect.

Atk: 1500 / Def: 1500

* * *

Yugi watched as 3 copies of Kurama appeared next to the original, though that wasn't the worrying thing, but rather that these copies had the same name as [Ninja Kitsune Kurama], which meant that Kushina would gain 600 more attack points.

[Ninja Kitsune Kushina] Atk: 1400 → 2000.

"Don't worry, my tokens won't stay for long, I now activate the ritual magic [Fuinjutsu: Jinchuriki]" - Kurama said as his eyes glittered slightly - "This Ritual magic allows me to summon a ritual monster from my hand or deck, as long as I use 3 [Elemental Ninja] names from the same tribe as sacrifice."

"Same tribe?" - Yugi said in surprise - "Wait, you mean you have more than just [Ninja Kitsune]?"

"I sacrifice my three [Clone Kitsune], to special summon from my deck my [Ninja Kitsune: Kyubi Kurama]!" - Kurama exclaimed as the three tokens on his side of the field, disappeared into what appeared to be a shrine, only for a much more mature Kurama to appear after a few seconds with 9 tails behind him instead of the single one his original version had.

* * *

[Fuinjutsu: Jinchuriki (Ritual Magic)]

Sacrifice monsters equal to or higher than the level of the [Elemental Ninja] monster you wish to summon from your hand. If you sacrifice 3 monsters of the same tribe and the level is higher than the required level, you can special summon the target monster from the deck instead of the hand. If you were to receive damage higher than your life points, you can remove this card from the graveyard, cancel that attack, and you gain life points equal to the damage you were going to receive, after this effect resolves, ends the battles phase, you can only use this effect once per duel.

* * *

[Ninja Kitsune: Kyubi Kurama (Lvl: 7)]

Can only be special summoned through ritual magic [Fuinjutsu: Jinchuriki]. This card is immune to opponent monster effects. Once per turn, when your opponent activates an effect (this is a quick effect), you may remove a card from your graveyard to negate that activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

Atk: 2500/ Def: 2500

* * *

"Now, I activate field magic, Elemental Nations" - Kurama said calmly.

Yugi was beginning to deduce that he had belittled the skills of the novice. This guy was a lot more trouble to deal with than he thought because he knew what he was doing, and he wasn't saying this because Kurama was an expert in monster dueling, but because he had a good head on his shoulders and was a quick learner after reading his cards.

* * *

[Elemental Nations (Field Magic)]

When this card is activated, you may choose a [Ninja Elemental] card from your deck and add it to your hand, although you may not activate it for the rest of the turn. If a [Elemental Ninja] monster, were to be destroyed by an enemy card effect, negate that destruction, and if you do, destroy an enemy card instead, you can only use this effect 1 time per turn.

* * *

"Thanks to the effect of [Elemental Nations], I can choose a card [Elemental Ninja] from my deck and add it to my hand" - Kurama said while taking a card - "Finally, I activate the continuing magic card, [Elemental Nations: Uzushiogakure no Sato]"

* * *

[Elemental Nations: Uzushiogakure no Sato ( Continuous Magic)]

It can only be activated with the field magic [Elemental Nations] and if that card is destroyed, destroy this card. All [Ninja Kitsune] you control, gain 200 attack points and a Kitsune counter with each [end phase] they survive. When you get 9 Kitsune counters, you can summon a [Ninja Kitsune] monster from the extra deck, ignoring its summoning conditions.

* * *

"Now, I summon [Ninja Hebi Anko" - Kurama said calmly as he put down the card of a beautiful purple-haired woman. She was wearing a brown trench coat over a leggings shirt that highlighted her beautiful figure.

* * *

[Ninja Hebi Anko (Lvl 3)]

This card is considered a [Ninja Kitsune] while in field and graveyard. While [Ninja Kitsune Kurama] is on the field, you may special summon this card from your hand, and if you do, you may put as many Hebi counters on this card as the number of [Ninja Kitsune] you control counting this card. When your opponent declares an attack, you can remove a counter from this card and negate that attack, this card gains 800 attack and defense points permanently.

Atk: 0 / Def: 0

* * *

"Finally, I summon [Ninja Karasu Mikoto] in attack mode" - Kurama continued while Yugi felt a bit of discomfort seeing how his opponent's turn seemed to have no end while his was over in just a few seconds.

"Maybe I should upgrade my deck" - Yugi muttered, confused because he didn't know a duelist with such a long combo, much less one that made it have such a "perfect" field.

* * *

[Ninja Karasu Mikoto (Lvl 5)]

This card is considered a [Ninja Kitsune] while in field or graveyard. This card cannot be summoned normally or set up, it can only be special summoned, as long as you control 4 [Ninja Kitsune] with different names. As long as this card is face up, all your [Ninja Kitsune] are immune to the effects of Magic and Traps cards. When this card is special summoned, you can search your deck for a [Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan] card and add it to your hand. You cannot control more than one [Ninja Karasu].

Atk: 1000/Def: 2000

* * *

"Thanks to Mikoto's effect, I can take a [Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan] card from my deck and add it to my hand, though don't worry I'll activate it right away" - Kurama said while Yugi shook his head because this kind of duels didn't seem so fun despite the huge amount of combos his opponent was doing.

* * *

[Kekkei Genkai; Sharingan (Equip Magic)]

You can only equip this card to one [Ninja Karasu] monster. The monster equipped with this card cannot be destroyed in battle. When a [Ninja Kitsune] monster is destroyed by effect or by battle, you can sacrifice this card and if you do so, you can activate a [Kekkei Genkai: Mangekyo Sharingan] magic from your deck and equip it to a [Ninja Karasu] monster.

* * *

"Now I begin the battle phase!" - Kurama exclaimed - "[Kyubi Kurama], attack his Valkyrie!"

"Not so fast, I activate my magic card [Kuriboh's Summoning Flute]!" - Yugi exclaimed seriously - "This allows me to draw a Kuriboh or winged Kuriboh from my deck and put it in my hand, and summon one of them on the field!"

Kurama raised an eyebrow at the sight of a cute furball with wings appearing on the enemy field - "But that doesn't change my [Kyubi Kurama] attacking your Valkyrie!"

Yugi didn't say anything, he just received the attack.

Yugi: 4000-900 = 3100 LP

"I'm not done yet, Kushina, attack his second Valkyrie!" - Kushina exclaimed, who had regained her 2000 hit points.

Yugi: 3100-400 = 2700

"Mikoto, attack her winged Kuriboh!" - Kurama continued as he watched his wife's card, attack the cute furball, though to his surprise, Yugi took no battle damage - "How?"

"My Kuriboh when destroyed and sent to the graveyard, neutralizes all battle damage it receives this turn after its destruction" - Yugi said, though his expression changed as he saw how [Kyubi Kurama's] eyes glowed slightly, then let out a small cry of surprise as he saw it receive battle damage - "How?"

"The effect of my [Kyubi Kurama]" - Kurama said calmly as he removed the magic [Jutsu: Kage Bunshin] - "By removing a card from my graveyard, I can negate the activation of your Kuriboh's effect, though it's only once per turn."

Yugi: 2700-700 = 2000

"Kurama, attack directly!" - Kurama exclaimed as he watched his copy attack his opponent.

"Not so fast, I discard my Kuriboh to cancel the battle damage from your attack!" - Yugi exclaimed as he watched an illusory copy of his friend block his opponent's attack.
