Cap 129: The Return of Sekkusu Kami-sama

2"It' s good to see you again, Shizune-san, Tsunade-sama" - said Izumo as he looked at the new arrivals - "And to see that Jiraiya-sama is in perfect condition"      1

"What do you mean by that?!" - exclaimed the aforementioned in fury.

"That we thought you would return in deplorable condition for attempting something foolish against Tsunade-sama," Kotetsu said neutrally.

"In fact, he didn't lack the will," answered Kurama.

Jiraiya would have suffered an unimaginable fate were it not for the fact that the tent the women were using was protected by an anti-Jiraiya barrier.

"It is a pleasure to see you back, Sekkusu Kami-sama" - said Kotetsu with excitement.

"Sekkusu Kami-sama?" - asked Shizune and Pakura.

"Just ignore that part," sighed the redhead. "What did I tell you about calling me that?"

"I'm sorry... it's just that we're so excited to be in your presence" - said Izumi as he looked on with excitement at the redhead - "And if it's not too much trouble, I'd like you to give us your blessing"

". . ." - Kurama stared at them silently as the two guards at the Konoha gates began to sweat - "Ok. . ."

"Yes!" - exclaimed the two shinobis.

"Anyway, I bless you and whatever..." - said Kurama with neutrality.

"Thank you!" - exclaimed the two gatekeepers, and to the surprise of those present, two kunoichis arrived within seconds.

"Hello, Izumo, Kotetsu!" - said one of the women.

"How are you, Suu?" - asked Kotetsu with a smile.

"Well, returning from a mission," Suu nodded. "Anyway, Mia and I were wondering if you wanted to go out with us tonight"

"Huh?" - The two gatekeepers couldn't believe what was going on, although they weren't the only ones because Kurama's group couldn't believe it either.

"S-Sure..." - said Kotetsu as the girls nodded - "Okay, see you at 8"

"Ok..." - Izumo nodded as he watched the two girls enter the village - " Holy shit, it worked! Praise Sekkusu Kami-sama!"

". . ." - Kotetsu for his part.

"May we pass?" - Kurama asked.

"Of course, come in, Sekkusu Kami-sama!" - exclaimed Izumo, who seemed about to kiss his feet.

"We had better get going," the redheaded man muttered as the others nodded.

The group quickly entered Konoha, leaving the two doorkeepers alone again.

"Fucking hell, it worked!" - exclaimed Kotetsu who could finally react.

"Wow... that was slow," Izumo replied.

"I just never thought it would work! - Kotetsu exclaimed as he shook his head - "I guess we'll have to work on getting out sooner... we also have to make an offering to the Shrine of Sekkusu Kami-sama"

* * * * *

"Okay, that was strange" - said Tsunade as she walked down the streets she hadn't walked for many years.

"I still cannot believe that he is known in this place as Sekkusu Kami-sama" - added Shizune as Pakura nodded, but his expression became apathetic when he saw how the acclaimed Gama Sennin of Mount Myoboku, was begging the young redhead as he grabbed his leg.

"You have to give me your blessing, Gaki" - said Jiraiya - "I need it!"

"Let go of me!" - exclaimed Kurama as his eyebrow began to twitch.

"I think I'm regretting coming back to this place," Tsunade muttered as she sighed with regret.

"Let me go, damn it!" - roared the redhead as Jiraiya flew off after being hit by a tail.

". . ." - The women were only silent as they saw how the redheaded man now had a smile on his face - "Why don't we go to the Hokage Tower so we can talk to Shikaku?"

"Okay" - the women nodded without even thinking twice.

* * * * *

"It is a pleasure to see you again, Tsunade-sama" - said Shikaku upon seeing the Senju Princess.

"Honestly, I don't like the idea of coming back to this place..." - sighed Tsunade - "So many memories I wish to forget and open wounds that will need time to heal"

"?" - Shikaku was confused by the latter but quickly decided to put it aside when he noticed Kurama giving him a sign - "I don't know what happened, but I'm sorry, Tsunade-sama"

"Don't worry," sighed the woman, "I'd better change the subject, I'm going straight to the hospital to see the old man... this will keep my mind occupied."

"Thank you," said Commander Jonin as he finally breathed a sigh of relief. "By the way... who is she?"

"I'll explain in a moment, for now, I want her to go to the hospital with Tsunade-san" - said Kurama calmly.

"Okay, you can go," Shikaku nodded calmly.

"Tsunade-san... when you want to rest, you can go to Uzumaki Mansion" - said Kurama as he handed her two seals, one for Shizune and one for Pakura. Tsunade did not need it because she was not only a descendant of Uzumaki but was the granddaughter of Mito, the same woman who built the mansion.

"Ok" - nodded the beautiful blonde woman as she retired with the others.

"Okay... Now I want the report," said Shikaku seriously. He had managed to detect a few things during his conversation with Tsunade, first, she had overcome her Hemophobia. Second, something serious had happened during the mission, something that had damaged her psychologically even more. Third, the Senju's relationship with the boy in front of him was much closer than it appeared at first glance.

"Okay... let's start from the time our new partner joined... Shakuton no Pakura" - said Kurama as Shikaku breathed a sigh of weariness - "I knew her appearance looked familiar... ok, the paperwork will be hell with all this... anyway, go on..."

"Ok" - the redheaded man nodded as he continued his story. First, how they arrived at Tanzaku and detected that the target made contact with Orochimaru. Second, Tsunade's requests during the negotiation, leaving personal matters aside. Third, the fight against Orochimaru's forces, as well as the death of Kabuto, the appearance of Dan thanks to Edo Tensei and the acquisition of Kimimaro in his forces.

"At least that last one won't give me any more paperwork since it enters as Uzu's international affair" - said Shikaku while releasing a sigh of relief - "Although it is a surprise to hear about a Kaguya surviving the massacre... but seriously speaking... it never crossed my mind that Orochimaru would do something like bringing Kato Dan..."

"Neither did we... that's why I think the idea was Namikaze Menma's" - said Kurama seriously.

"I think the same thing" - said Commander Jonin - "That troublesome family..."

Minato had not only abused his power as Hokage for 8 years so that he could kill the boy in front of him, but he had also earned the displeasure of at least 80% of the shinobi clans. Midori was not far behind, she always walked around flaunting her power and identity, and in the process, winning the hatred of many Konoha residents. Menma was the only decent member of the family in his youth, although thanks to his parents, he was isolated and hurt by the people around him, so to hear that he betrayed Konoha was not much of a surprise, although he had to admit that he was surprised to hear of the intellect he had.

"Thank you for the information... you may go now," Shikaku said as Kurama nodded. He missed his family and just wanted to get home so he could see them.

"What are you going to do about the Tsunade requests?" - Kurama asked calmly.

"I am already thinking about some things, though seeing the sheer amount of debt, I do not think Konoha can handle all this," sighed Commander Jonin.

"The Uzumaki Clan will pay 80% of the Debt," Kurama responded neutrally. "We have the money to do it, as well as the source of income to support us despite the large sum we will spend.

"Why are you doing this?" - Shikaku asked seriously. The help Kurama was offering was too good to be true.

"One, she is a member of the Uzumaki Royalty, so my clan must help her despite her being a Senju," the redheaded man replied. " And two, it is something I cannot say but it is no harm to Konoha"

". . ." - Shikaku frowned when he heard that he wouldn't get any more information but still nodded - "Well... the Uzumaki clan will pay 80% of the debt while 20% will be paid from the Senju clan's and Konoha's own money"

"Sounds good," nodded the ginger calmly.

"Okay, you can go now," Shikaku nodded as he began organizing the documents to pay off Tsunade's debts.

"The money will be sent in a day at the most, I have to do the counting as well as the documents to make the transfer," Kurama nodded as he left, leaving a thoughtful Shikaku.

"At least everything went well..." - mumbled the Nara - "Tsunade-sama is on her way to see the state of Hiruzen-sama... now all that remains is to wait for the good news... but there is one thing that still bothers me... and that is that we still haven't found Danzo..."

The Old War Hawk had disappeared just after Hayate's death, further demonstrating his involvement in the invasion of Oto and Suna.

"Where are you... Shimura Danzo...? - Shikaku murmured coldly because he knew that as long as he was not captured, Konoha would be in great danger, one that could not only destroy it but also start a 4th Shinobi World War.
