The Legend of the Kyubi

I offered you mercy! And you spat in my face!

I offered you mercy! And you spat in my face!

0". . ." - Kurenai was silent as she watched the girls' sad expressions. She felt bad because she knew of the feelings they had for the red-haired Genin.

"Ino-chan... Hinata-chan..." - the red-haired man muttered in surprise that he had not felt the girls' presence because he had all their attention in Kurenai.

"Don't say anything else" - Ino denied as she sighed with regret.

". . ." - Hinata just looked sadly at the boy but said nothing.

"I'm sorry, girls" - sighed the red-eyed kunoichi - "I never thought anything like this would happen...

Kurenai was being sincere because it never crossed her mind that she would begin to feel anything for a boy younger than herself, let alone her own Genin but she could do nothing to hold back her growing feelings. Kurenai needed someone's support and she had found it in the presence of the redhead.

"We don't blame you, Kurenai sensei..." - sighed Ino with regret - "After all, one cannot control the feelings one begins to develop..."

The blond-haired Genin had detected the changes in the look Kurenai gave to the boy she liked but had ignored it because her sensei was in a relationship with Asuma Sarutobi.

"Kurenai sensei... what happened to Asuma sensei?" - asked Hinata, who did not understand how her kind sensei would cheat on her boyfriend.

". . ." - Kurenai remained silent for a few seconds while she thought about whether or not to tell them about her situation, of course omitting what happened with Hiruzen.

"I think it would be a good idea if you told them" - said Kurama with a smile - "They have been worried about you more than you know.

". . ." - Kurenai kept her silence but after a few seconds, she nodded. She told them about some details and the girls couldn't believe it, now they understood why Kurenai was so sad these last days.

"I know how you feel about what you saw and again I say I am sorry" - sighed the red-eyed kunoichi with regret.

"You don't have to apologize, Kurenai sensei" - denied Hinata with a slight expression of pain - "Congratulations on initiating a relationship with Kurama-kun"

"We are not in a relationship" - Kurenai denied as she blushed slightly.

"You're not?" - Ino said with surprise - "And the kiss?"

"I-I was just checking something... - Kurenai muttered as she moved her gaze in another direction.

". . ." - The girls were silent when they heard the reason.

Kurama kept silent all this time because he felt they needed to talk. Even the idea of withdrawing to give them more privacy crossed his mind but after thinking about it for a little longer, he decided not to because he felt it would affect the red-eyed kunoichi negatively.

* * * * * * *

The girls continued their conversation while Kurama lay on the ground and stared at the sky. He was surprised by the sudden change in conversation.

"Don't you remember that Kurama-kun is in the CRA?" - Kurenai asked in surprise at how depressed her students were after seeing her kiss with Kurama.

". . ." - the girls just slapped their faces while feeling stupid for not remembering that important detail.

"I will take that as a no" - denied Kurenai.

"Ugh" - the girls only sighed in annoyance but still nodded at their sensei's words.

"That being said, I would like to be allowed to spend the day with Kurama-kun so that I can continue to experience this feeling I have" - Kurenai said seriously.

". . ." - The girls were silent but still nodded. They couldn't get into each other's lives, let alone someone important to them. They might suffer if they saw the boy with another girl but knowing he could have more than one partner only meant they had to try harder to be by his side.

"Thank you girls" - Kurenai smiled as she gave her Genins a hug when she saw that they nodded.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow" - said Ino as he gave his friend a look - "Come on, Hinata-chan"

"Ok" - Hinata nodded as she looked at her teacher - "Good luck"

"Thank you" - Kurenai nodded as she watched the girls retreat - "I know you heard everything... that's not right..."

"It's not my fault that my senses are better than those of a normal human" - answered the Uzumaki.

"Anyway, at least I don't have to ask you if you want to go out with me or not anymore" - sighed Kurenai as she gave the boy an expectant look.

"I have no problem," the redhead nodded.

" Let's go" - Kurenai smiled as she held the boy's hand.

". . ." - Kurama was silent as he was led by the kunoichi

* * * * *

The couple continued their improvised date and Kurenai had to admit that it had been the happiest moment she had had in years. Kurama was just as she thought, kind and considerate of her needs, not to mention that he was not an obsessive bastard who constantly drowned her in his problems.

At this point, the two were walking to Kurenai's house because the date was over.

Kurenai was a bit upset about this but there was nothing she could do to stop it because Kurama had something to do.

"Thank you very much for accepting my request" - said the red-eyed kunoichi with a smile.

"You don't have to" - the redheaded man denied.

"Can we do it again sometime?" - Kurenai asked excitedly.

"You only have to ask, and I will do it" - the Uzumaki smiled.

Kurenai could not hold back any longer so he took the boy and kissed him. After a few seconds, she understood her actions and blushed like never before - "I'm sorry..."

". . ." - Kurama was silent as he looked at the woman. He didn't know what to do with Kurenai since, like her, he never thought there would be anything between them.

"Kurama-kun?" - Kurenai asked with slight fear. She felt that she had gone too far as the boy was not answering her.

"It's nothing... I was just thinking" - answered the redhead with a smile - "I'm sorry I can't stay longer"

"Don't worry" - agreed Kurenai - "Again, I apologize for my actions"

"No need" - denied the redhaired young as he took one last look at the woman - "See you tomorrow..."

". . ." - Kurenai was silent as she watched the Uzumaki retreat. She didn't know what to do now since it was the first time in her life that she was starting to be interested in someone - "I'd better take a shower so I can clear my mind a bit... maybe I can find a solution..."

* * * * * *

Time passed slowly and it was already night.

Kurenai was now preparing to go to sleep. She still had a smile on her face from the events that had happened during the day - "I don't think the day could be better..."

"That's where you're wrong Kurenai... because it's about to get better..." - said a voice behind her.

"Asuma!" - exclaimed Kurenai as she looked at his invader - "What are you doing here?!"

"I come for what is mine..." - replied the male Jonin with a lustful look - "And I'm going to enjoy it"

"!" - Kurenai was surprised but quickly put on her guard.

"Don't fight it, Kurenai" - said Asuma excitedly - "You're only postponing the inevitable!"

". . ." - Kurenai was only silent as she kept looking at her opponent coldly.

"I guess it's going to be the hard way" - Asuma muttered as he threw himself at Kurenai.

Kurenai quickly tried to use his Genjutsu to get out of this situation but strangely she couldn't concentrate her chakra properly - "What's going on?!"

"I see you finally realized" - smiled the smoking Jonin - "You can't mold your chakra well because I used a mixture that uses IT to be able to hold its prisoners more easily"

"!" - Kurenai was only surprised but those moments of surprise were enough for Asuma, who without much effort managed to capture the woman - "What are you trying to do?!"

"What I should have done from the beginning..." - said Asuma as he gagged her.

"Hmph!" - Kurenai could only look at the man furiously as she tried her best to get away but her expression changed when she saw how her ex-boyfriend was starting to take off his pants. She could only look at him in fear as she begged him not to continue but nothing seemed to affect her captor.

"I'm going to enjoy this..." - said Asuma as he took one last look at the woman but froze when he heard a second voice - "But not as much as I..."

"!" - He quickly tried to move but couldn't because his enemy was much faster - "Ack!"

"I warned you but it seems you didn't take me seriously" - said the newcomer Kurama

"!" - Kurenai just gave him a happy look and if she could do it, she would hug him.

"Relax Kurenai-san... everything is fine..." - said Kurama with a smile.

Tears started streaming down the cheeks of the kunoichi who could only nod.

"Now... how about a little game, Asuma-chan?" - continued the redheaded man as he gave a sadistic smile to Jonin - "Although I'd better wait a bit... I'm sure my partner will enjoy making you suffer"

". . ." - Asuma just watched him silently as he felt himself lose consciousness.

After checking Asuma's condition, Kurama took Kurenai to the Uzumaki house. He explained the situation to Kushina, who had a look full of killer instinct. It took him 5 minutes to calm her down and get out of the house so he could meet his partner.

"You're finally here!" - Anko said with a smile. She had returned this very afternoon from her mission - "I honestly never thought that all this would escalate so quickly..."

"Neither did I, but there's nothing we can do" - said Kurama seriously. He had already given Hiruzen enough face by forgiving Asuma after what he said but it seems that it was not enough for the Hokage.

"By the way, I'm going to bring 'Them' " - said Anko with a sadistic smile - "I'm sure he'll enjoy it"

Kurama had explained the situation to her when they met after separating from Kurenai and Anko like any woman was upset by the attitude of the son of the Sandaime, so she decided to prepare some things if necessary.

"Go get them... it's going to be a long night" - said Kurama seriously while the beautiful purple-haired woman only gave him a flirtatious smile and walked towards her destination to pick up the "Volunteers".

The next morning, Hiruzen was in his office with a worried look on his face.

His son had escaped from the Sarutobi residence after killing the Anbus group that was guarding him. They had become confident because they never thought their leader's son would do something as unseemly as killing them.

"Please... please don't do anything stupid..." - Hiruzen murmured in pain as he waited for his Anbus to find his son safely but there seemed to be no results. He was praying for Kami-sama to hear his prayers but the more time passed, the more afraid he became.

"Hiruzen-sama..." - said his secretary as she entered the office - "Kurama-kun wants to talk to you"

When he heard these words, a bad feeling took hold of his mind - "Tell him to come in..."

Kurama slowly appeared in front of Hiruzen with a neutral look - "Sarutobi-san..."

"Kurama Uzumaki..." - murmured the Sandaime - "What do you need?"

"I've come to deliver something..." - said Kurama as he tossed him a storage scroll - "I'm sorry for your loss..."

Hiruzen stood up suddenly and gave the boy a wild look but quickly calmed down. If he fought Kurama, Konoha would suffer for it, so he had no choice but to calm his growing anger.

"I know how you feel, Sarutobi-sama" - Kurama said calmly.

"Are you mocking me?!" - Hiruzen exclaimed angrily.

"No... I don't mean that" - denied the redhead - "I mean the situation where your loved ones are killed and you can't do anything to avenge them..."

". . ." - Hiruzen only bit his lip in anger while sighing with regret.

"But that doesn't change the fact that I warned you of the consequences if Asuma attacked someone under the protection of the Uzumaki clan" - Kurama could only give the man a sad look, he didn't want to destroy what little family Hiruzen and Biwako had but neither could he allow anyone to attack his family or friends.

"You've made your point... now I'm asking you to leave..." - Hiruzen said in a cold, unemotional voice although you could tell how much he was holding back his pain and sadness.

". . ." - Kurama said nothing else, he just left the office.

When he saw that Kurama had retired, Hiruzen released everything he had inside. He felt his heart breaking into a thousand pieces as he released the seal from the scroll. In front of him was none other than the corpse of his youngest son - "Asuma... why... why did you have to do it?"

Hiruzen only wanted to go to Kurama and avenge his son, but he knew that if he did so, not only would the village suffer the consequences, but his image would be destroyed because the Uzumaki Clan would only have to inform the situation.

As ambassadors, the members of the Uzumaki Clan were subject to the international law of the Elemental Nations, as well as their protection. If a Village attacked an Ambassador, it would not only cause a war with the opposing Village, but it could escalate into a world war and even though the Uzumaki Clan was nearly extinct, they still had connections to the Daimyo of different nations and this was the reason why the Four Great Villages that participated in their extinction did not continue to pursue the survivors.

"Asuma..." - the Hokage muttered in tears as he looked at the body of his son - "You don't know how you will make your mother suffer..."
