The pirate ship can defend and manouver to dodge the cannon balls. They also shoot back, but the ninja squad can defend easily. The naval battle didn't do any damage to both sides, and the pirate ship keep getting close.
When the pirate ship get in range, the ninja squad immediately jump to the ship. They can't fight in their own ship and risk the pirates attack the royals. Vivi want to help, but Koza stop her and tell her to protect her family.
The ninja squad start to fight with the 'Pirates' and show the result of their training. They show superior strength and abilities to these 'Pirates'. Of course this surprised the pirates, as it means that the ninjas are stronger than Rear Admiral's crew.
The devil fruit users among the ninjas also start to show their abilities. They're initially the stronger members of ninja squad, and when they get devil fruits, their abilities increase further.
Devil fruits won't instantly make people stronger. However, it can give more range and abilities to use. If the users are creative, even low level devil fruit can bring them to the top.
While the ninjas attack the pirates, the soldiers stay on the ship and protect the royals and non-combatants. These soldiers are not used to battle on the sea and a moving ship, so it's better to not let them fight.
When seeing their mens are losing, the pirate leaders that wear black cloaks & haven't move since the battle start, finally make a move. They command their mens to use their secret techniques. However, they need to make sure they succeed and silence all witness.
Koza have a bad feeling about this, and what he see next make him click his tongue. The pirates' movement change, and they start to fight more organizedly. They start to have better teamwork, and the most surprising thing is, they use Rokushiki.
"As i thought, they're from Government, Cipher Pol."-Koza
"What should we do, Koza? Our mens are getting pushed."-Erik
Koza look at their mens that start to get pushed back and make a decision.
"Use that! Let's go all out."-Koza
"Alright."-Erik
Erik give command to the ninjas to use their secret technique. The ninjas nod and start to use their altered Rokushiki, and also Haki. Now they all can use armament & observation haki, altough their masteries are diverse.
Previously, the ninjas agree to hide their real power especially altered Rokushiki & Haki. The reason for Rokushiki is clear, but for haki, they have another reason. Haki is uncommon in Paradise, and they want to have trump card too, so they'll surprise their enemies.
They're right, it surprise the enemies now, and they get the upperhand again. The battle is in their favor now, and they've defeated many enemies. Koza & the ninja leaders now try to fight the enemy leaders, but they've gone.
"KYAAA!"-Women's scream
The ninja leaders turn to look at the screaming voice's source which is on their ship. They widen their eyes in shock because of what they see.
"MY KING! VIVI-SAMA!"-Igaram
The King is being stabbed by a cloaked person on the chest. Vivi almost got stabbed too, but Zetsu #9 protect her and the knife stab on his hands. The other attackers that wear cloaks also try to attack the Queen & Crown Prince too, but the guards move fast to stop them.
The attackers decide to move back, but Koza & the ninja leaders have arrived and attack them. Koza & the ninja leaders force the enemies to move away from there. Koza & co go all out and it didn't take long for them to win.
These attackers are the enemy leaders, and they've slipped when their mens battling the ninjas. Koza immediately run back to where the Royals are and the other ninjas finish their job. They all got angry and now go for the kill without hesitation.
"*sniff* Father, please hang on."-Vivi cry while holding her father
"*cough cough*"-Cobra cough some blood.
The doctors are moving fast and try to stop his bleeding. However, the knife was stabbed into his heart directly, and now they don't dare to remove the knife. Removing the knife recklessly will make the blood erupt and destroy his heart instantly.
Zetsu #10 pull the doctors away from there and tell everyone to move back. #8 then come forward and place his right hand on Cobra's chest. His hand suddenly melted and it enter the wound on Cobra's chest.
The knife start to move out from the wound and then it come out completely. The wound is now closed & filled with Zetsu's melting hand. Zetsu #8 lost half of his right hand, but he is fine.
"*sniff* What are you doing #8?"-Vivi
"I close the wound on his chest with my cells. My cells are adaptable to anyone, but without medical jutsu it will not merge 100% with his body. You need Boss' help or someone with healing power for this. This technique will slow his death, but it can't last forever."-#8
"Boss teached us this technique for emergency situation, so it will work. Ah, and there is one last step, #8 don't forget about it!"-#9
"Ah, you're right."-#8
#8 suddenly cover Cobra with his body like when Yamato was inside Spiral Zetsu's body. The only parts that didn't get covered are Cobra's head & right hand, because #8 lost half of it.
"Boss said this will make sure his chakra flow, so he can live longer. I don't know how long though, so we better contact Boss as soon as possible."-#9
"Alright."-Vivi now have a hope
The ninja squads also finally finished their battle and win. They've caught some people and killed the rest. Then they try to find any information from the enemy's ship, but didn't find any.
After they burn the enemy's ship, they leave. They can't sail on their route anymore, so they decide to take a detour. The enemy must've waited on their actual route, so they can't use it now.
They want to contact Jon through denden mushi, but their white denden mushi has gone. Now they can't call anyone to avoid their call getting eavesdropped. Their only option is to find a small island and contact Jon through Zetsu #1.
They can't go to any big island, because it will reveal their location easily. Small island is not good too, but at least the news will get delayed. The best option is uninhabited island, but it's not easy to find, because uninhabited islands didn't have eternal pose as no one really need it.
Their options are limited, but they can only go with it. They finally decide to go to Maranca island that is not on their route, and didn't have any Marine base. It's a small island, with just a small town on it, but it's rather far.
"How long will we arrived there?"-Vivi
"10 days if we fast, 14 at most."-Koza
"THAT'S TOO LONG, MY FATHER MIGHT NOT SURVIVED."-Vivi
"Our options are limited, and we can't risk getting you & Crown Prince get in danger. The King himself has commanded us to prioritize you & your brother if something happen."-Pel
"But-"-Vivi
"Vivi-sama, you and the Crown Prince are our Kingdom's future, so the King will prioritize you two. And as a father, he will surely want you to be safe."-Igaram
Vivi know they're right, but still, she want her father to survive. 2 weeks are too long, and Jon will need time to find them too.
"Let's hope we find an uninhabited island, that way we don't need to worry about anything else. I'm sure Master can reach our location faster than anyone else. He will make sure he did, because he love you isn't he?"-Sinbad
Vivi is surprised seeing her brother is still calm. The others are surprised too, and look at Sinbad with wide eyes.
"What? I'm the Crown Prince, so i can't get drown in my emotion. Master always teach me that a Crown Prince can't lose to his emotion and stay rational so that he can choose the best option for his Kingdom."-Sinbad
"You really look up to him aren't you? Well, most of us are like you too."-Koza
"A Crown Prince that admire a pirate and even take him as a Master is bad isn't it?"-Erik
"Hey, he is the Princess' boyfriend, so he's not just a Pirate."-Okame
"Ah, you're right."-Erik
The mood finally got lightened up a bit. Vivi also steel her heart after hearing her brother's words. She finally agree to go to Maranca Island. But if the King's condition drop, they will go to the nearest island.
Before leaving, they change their ship's appearance using Zetsu's wood jutsu. They also change their flag into merchant flag. Everyone also disguise themselves as normal people. It is to avoid detection in case they meet another ship on the way.
2 days after that, they get a surprising news from newspaper. It is written that Alabasta Royal Family has been attacked by Revolutionary Army and have gone missing. The RA led by their Staff Officer Sabo attacked their ship 2 days ago.
In the news, it's written that Sabo was on Mary Geoise, and he tailed Alabasta Royal Family after Levely finished. Marine have been succeed to capture Sabo and imprison him, but Alabasta Royal Family haven't been found to this day.
"WHAT IS THIS CRAP? SABO WAS ATTACKING US? THEY'RE THE ONE WHO ATTACKED US."-Koza
"Calm down, Koza. It must be the WG trying to cover up their deeds. However, the worrying thing is that they've captured Sabo."-Erik
"Yeah, it seem Sabo did something on Mary Geoise, and have been captured by them. They must've use him as a scapegoat after they failed in their attempt to kill us."-Pel
"But if we show up and tell the truth, wouldn't it backfired on them?"-Chaka
"It's not that easy. Before we even say anything, they will find us and surely silence us. They underestimate us on their first attempt, but next, they might really go all out to kill us."-Koza
"They want to make sure they find us fast enough while blaming the RA for their own crime. We really need Jon right now."-Vivi
"Yeah, because this news will surely create a commotion all over the world."-Koza
A big commotion really appear all over the world. The next day, an even bigger news appear. King Wapol give a statement about Vivi that make people can't believe it.
Wapol said that Vivi was in Straw Hat's ship 2 years ago. He even said that Vivi was their member before quitting and went back to her Kingdom. In other word, he say that Vivi, the Princess of Alabasta is a criminal.
The news also connected this statement with Crocodile incident. They do an investigation and found out that it's the Straw Hats who defeated Crocodile and save Alabasta, not the Marine like what people knew.
"Damn Wapol, doing something unnecessary. Now the Princess will be marked as a pirate."-Igaram
"Well, i was a Pirate, hihihi."-Vivi giggle
"VIVI-SAMA, IT'S NOT THE TIME TO MAKE A JOKE. *cough* Ma~ Ma~ Ma~"-Igaram
"Sigh, these news guys really want to create commotion. It help the WG yesterday, and now it blame them."-Kebi
"No, they don't side with WG yesterday, their news indicate that WG can't protect us at all and want WG & RA to clash."-Koza
"Hey, look! They put our pictures on the news too, and ask people to call them if they find us. They even give some prize, it's like they give us bounties, in a sense."-Pel
"Damn, it's messed up."-Koza
They continue their journey carefully and avoid any contact with other ship. After a week since the assassination attempt, they find an uninhabited island.
They finally land on the island and decide to stay there until Jon come. Zetsu #9 contact #1, this is right when Jon fight the Big Mom pirates.
