"Your Majesty, it's not good". The minister was sweating profusely from his forehead when he said this.
"What is it?" Aelsa frowned but the elegance in her gestures was still not lost. She still looked as beautiful and graceful as ever.
"Asgard is marching their armies on Jotunheim just as we speak". The minister reported hurriedly and informed while sweating even more now.
He was information Minister and providing information was his job. Not only he failed poorly but he only knew about this when the whole thing had already happened.
"How did you find it out only now?" Aelsa's eyes were about to spit fire when she heard his words. Her anger was boiling now.
The incompetence of this minister could've costed them incomparable amount of lives if the Asgard had marched their armies on them.
"You can pack up". Aelsa was also ruthless with her decision but she at least had the leniency to only remove him from post but not take away his nobility.
"As you order Your Majesty". The minister bowed with regret and couldn't help regretting that he wasn't attentive enough.
He knew that his mistake was really big this time and it was already lenient enough to just remove him from post.
"So Asgard finally made a move huh. They have been very restless these days as well". Aelsa sighed and frowned at the thought of the war.
"Your Majesty, we have to make preparations for the war as well". A radical minister stood up and said passionately.
"I'd say that we wait and see. It could that they are only going to war with Jotunheim and us making preparations could send a bad message". Another Minister stood up and he was one of the conservatives.
"That is feasible". The ministers from the same faction immediately chimed in like copy cats and started to express their views.
"We will make preparations. The safety of our realm depends on our decisions and we cannot take the least amount of risk". Aelsa still remembers King's warnings. So she was also decisive with her actions and immediately pushed for preparations.
"As you wish, You Majesty". The Defence Ministers and Generals bowed and got ready to make preparations immediately.
"Call the Crown Prince and tell him to join the preparations as well". Aelsa also decided to train King's commanding powers and majesty among the soldiers by putting him on the frontlines.
A future ruler cannot just be named overnight. He has to have merits of his own. So that the people can trust him and willingly surrender to his command and orders.
"Certainly your Majesty". A general bowed and started walking towards the training grounds because you could find King here all the time.
He is always training his spear, Magic or Divinities. He has been honing them for the past 90 years now. He can be said to have achieved a really high realm of strength as well.
The general got to the Training grounds and saw King sweating profusely while making a horse stance and meditating with Chastiefol.
He usually does this to refine his strength and also get better at his divinities. He has come really far in just hundred years from training only.
His Illusions are at the level of Loki without Divinity boost and his magic has also reached the advanced level.
He can already teleport short distances and even use some teleportation while fighting. He can conjure hundreds if not thousands of projectiles with magic and raze a planet to the ground with magic only.
Not the best amount of strength among the Knight Commanders but he is still certainly a strong individual in all respects.
'After this war finishes. I will go roaming the universe'. King opened his eyes and looked at the general approaching him silently.
"What is it General?" King stood straight like a spear and asked with a small smile.
He looked really approachable and amiable but if anyone knew him then they will know that this is only a facade. If push comes to shove then he doesn't mind fully eradicating his enemy.
"Your Highness, Your Majesty has asked you to Sortie with the army". The General gave a small bow and replied.
"I see, lead the way". King nodded his head and used magic to clean his body from any sweat and dirt. Making him fully refreshed and clean in appearance.
"King". Diane stepped forward and gave King a towel.
She has long been asked to leave her duties as a maid because her status as King's Fiancé doesn't allow her to do these chores.
So she asked to be the commander of King's personal knights. Aelsa allowed it happily because this status was enough for her to stay beside King.
"Gather the personal guards. We are going to sortie". King ordered her and started walking towards the barracks with the General.
Diane bowed a little and immediately started to head towards the residence of King's personal guards.
Some of them are King's childhood friends that were recommended by him and they have been rigorous training before they joined the unit.
This was a heaven sent opportunity for them. So they also gave it their all and achieved good results before entering the unit.
All the people in the unit have gone through rigorous inspection with magic being used on them and everything. None of them have any problem before they were allowed to join.
They reached the barracks and all the soldiers and knights were ready to go. There was no soldier that was sloppy and everyone was standing straight with extreme discipline.
'I don't think Odin will come for Alfheim first. He will definitely solve Jotunheim first before going for Nidavellir to put the Dwarves in his hands and then come to Svartalfheim'. King formularised in his mind and pondered on Odin's most logical actions.
Dwarves will be a very big help in war in subdued early and Jotunheim taken out in advance is also the best choice of action.
So King was fairly optimistic that they will still have years before the flames of war fan out towards their realm as well.
