24. Coronation Ceremony 4
"Now, we shall begin the Ceremony". Odin spike in a serious and heavy voice like a command.
Everyone stopped what they were doing and solemnly looked over to Odin standing in front of the throne of Asgard.
"I shall proclaim myself as the Lord of the Realm of Asgard. Anyone who has a different opinion shall speak now". Odin's voice resounded through the whole Realm like thunder.
Asgardians work differently with their coronation ceremonies.
During the establishment of the new lord if a warrior from the Realm is able to defeat the lord before he takes the throne then the said warrior can become the King himself.
The Asgardians cheered uproariously when they heard Odin's voice and hailed him loudly.
"Long Live Odin! May the Might of Asgard resound through the Nine Realms!" Similar cheers simultaneously broke through the whole realm at once.
Hela just looked at her father becoming the King without any fluctuations on her face like a statue.
It was like she was watching a normal thing happening in front of her.
She held no expectations to it because she knew that she was only meant to be a killer and a general for the honour of Asgard.
That's what Odin has told her since she was born and this has become a creed deeply imprinted into her bones.
Angerboda was not present in the room currently. She was currently not feeling well. So she was in her room laying down on the bed.
Odin stood there for about ten minutes and saw that there were no objections and sat down on the throne of Asgard with a small smile.
He grasped the spear Gungnir beside the throne tightly in his hands and the spear shone brightly.
It hummed for a while and released a fierce wave of magic that blew the clothes of everyone in the room.
A beautiful heavenly sight descended on the skies of Asgard and the whole Realm hummed in pleasure cor a while.
After the phenomenon and the spear calmed down. Odin's visage had changed completely.
He looked more majestic and powerful. A faint pressure could be felt from him that toppled everyone in the room.
A realm lord is more powerful when he is in his realm because he gets feedback from the Realm.
So their almost multiplies when they are sitting in the Realm and guarding it.
Only when they go to other Realms or outside their realm. Their feedback decreases but there is still some feedback on them.
Every Realm Lord has this privilege and they can master this privilege to its fullest extent.
This can allow them to receive the full feedback of the realm even if they are not present in the realm itself.
This is also the reason why the lords of the Nine Realms are feared among the universe and are seldom provoked by other civilisations.
Only madmen like Celestials, Cosmic Entities and others dare to provoke them head on.
There are serious consequences behind their provocation and they dare not do it without considering all the consequences.
Odin's faint smile could tell that he was truly happy by finally being able to claim the throne of Asgard and being able to take it as his own.
"Let the Banquet begin". He said in a loud voice and various maids quickly brought the food and a table with a large number of chairs to the middle of the room.
The Realm Lords separated to give them space to operate and kept on talking to each other harmoniously.
But only they knew that this harmony wasn't much when it truly mattered because in front of resources and other things.
These alliances and friendships prove very fake at the end of the day.
A huge variety food was displayed on the table and most of them were meat dishes of a large number of mythical beasts.
Unicorns and all kinds of different delicacies were displayed in a large number on the table.
King sat down on the table gracefully and Hela took her leave to sit beside Odin on the table.
Odin glanced at her faintly and continued to eat the eat food boisterously with the other lords when he saw that there was nothing wrong with her and her face was cold and stoic like a tool should be.
She is his sword that he is training and this time, he brought her here to experience the atmosphere of a banquet and get to see all the realm lords once.
This will help her in the future if he needs her to achieve certain goals of his.
Odin has always been like this. Utterly calculative in any thing that he does before he sacrificed his eye to Yggdrasil in exchange for wisdom.
He was warmonger and a big one at that. He ruled with an iron thumb rather than with wisdom and benevolence.
Asgardians have no quibbles at going to war with the other realms because they are warriors and they love wars.
They love to prove their might to the other races and laugh at the dining table at the end of the day with some booze and meat.
After the banquet in the Throne room. All the realm lords stood up and made a line in front of Odin sitting on the throne.
"We Alfheim present the Lord of Asgard a bow of strength. Any warrior that can draw it can shoot arrows with double the power of what they are originally capable of". Aelsa waved her hand and a maid presented Odin with an elegant green bow made of fine wood with metal runes engraved on it with Uru.
This wasn't the best weapon and there was a limit to how much power a warrior can exhibit from it because at a certain level. It will prove ineffective but it was still a good weapon.
"Much appreciated". Odin replied perfunctorily and a guard took the bow from the maid and put it aside.
Aelsa said a few more words and took her leave from the podium to allow others to present their gifts as well.
Her coronation ceremony was different but the basic procedures weren't all that different when it came to entertaining guests and exchanging gifts.
