20. Preparations
King has been training the whole month and has been able to properly stretch his body and gain some fluidity in his Katas as well.
"Your Highness, please stay still while we help you into the clothes". A maid said with a bow and a gentle smile on her face.
All the maids in the castle are beautiful with slender bodies and curves in the right places.
King doesn't really feel much while looking at them like this because he can't even get it up. So he just naturally gets dressed without any awkwardness.
And by now, he is so used to it that he doesn't feel anything about this.
Diane has also been very diligent this past month. She has memorised all of King's sleeping habits and his likes and dislikes as much as she can.
She has also been training with him a bit. Not as intense as him but she also trains a bit to gain some power.
She is doing all this to be a better maid for King. She thinks of this as her highest duty and priority to repay the grace of Aelsa and others for taking her in.
She certainly gives her all when King gives her any requests. He hasn't needed to give an order till now because Diane fulfils everything he tells her to.
King's diligence has also inspired Elaine and she has started to work hard on her studies as well.
She mostly trains her magic and other studies rather than doing physical training. That part of her training is the least that she does.
Like most elves, she prefers magic and other studies rather than physical training.
King doesn't really care nor does Aelsa. Both of them just let her do what she wants.
Well King mostly wants to get stronger and doesn't really know much in this regard. So he can't really say anything to her.
Today though, they are going to Odin's coronation ceremony.
King heard from Aelsa through persistent insistence that Bor had died and Cul and Vi were killed off by Odin.
Cul had gotten the throne with force but Odin and Vi dragged him down the throne with their own armies and cooperation.
Then the three brothers fought viciously and Odin killed the other two off to get rid of future troubles.
Now, today is his Coronation ceremony and he is going to sit on the Throne of Asgard as it's king and ruler.
King, Aelsa and Elaine are going to attend the ceremony today as the only neutral grounds among the nine realms.
They don't favour anyone and are basically the allies of every realm.
They have established this status quo with their own hard power.
This is also a reason of Pride for most residents of Alfheim. They take pride in being a unique existence among the realms.
Their peaceful looks and slender figures isn't a reason to underestimate them however. They can very well handle their own against other races.
"King, are you ready?" Elaine came barging into the room and asked excitedly.
This was her first time going to another realm and she was looking forward to it.
"Your Highness Elaine, His Highness King is still getting ready. So please wait for a while". Diane quickly followed up and answered in King's stead.
"Hurry up then". Elaine said and ran off towards her mother's room this time.
Diane has been able to get over her nervousness while staying with King this past month.
She doesn't get easily flustered when close to him and isn't as reserved and afraid as before.
"And there, you look very good in this Your Highness". A maid finished taking out the creases from King's clothes and complimented with a happy smile.
"Thank you". King nodded and thanked her before he turned around to look at Diane.
Maybe because she is similar to her age. King values her opinions more than the regular maids of the castle.
"It certainly looks good on you, Your Highness". Diane also nodded and said with a smile.
"Thank you, let's go". King cheered and up and ran off while holding Diane's hand.
Diane tried to take back her hand but felt King's tight grip on her hand and gave up struggling.
King ran on his own legs all the way to Aelsa's room with Chastiefol following behind him.
There were Maids standing in front of the room to guard the door.
The queen was changing and they couldn't just allow someone to barge into the room like this.
"Your Highness, Her Majesty is currently changing". A maid said with a smile when she saw King approaching the room.
"But I want to go in". King protested when he heard their words and pouted at them cutely.
The maids looked at each other for a while and then shook their heads at each other helplessly.
"Only you can go in but she has to stay outside". The maid relented and said helplessly.
"Okay". King nodded and barged into the room after getting permission.
"Mom!" King called and barged into the room happily.
He saw Elaine sitting on the bed and Aelsa sitting in front of the mirror and getting her hair and makeup done by the maids.
She couldn't speak at the moment because of her face being used by maids to apply makeup.
"What is it King?" Elaine saw the said in Aelsa's stead.
"How do I look?" He showed while twisting his body and turning around.
"It looks really good on you". Elaine smiled and commented cheerfully.
Aelsa also nodded her head slightly in affirmation to Elaine's words.
King beamed up from their words and sat down beside Elaine on the bed.
He was wearing a noble's clothes from the mediaeval era and they looked really good on his small body.
He had a blue coat with white pants and various gold ornaments everywhere on the suit.
He would look like the prince charming of most girls' fantasies if he was just a bit older.
He certainly had the makings of one with all the right conditions and he was an actual prince to top it all off.
