98. Battle 2
"You won't be able to beat me". Apocalypse said calmly and his hand suddenly elongated. He tried to catch King by the throat.
King lightly side stepped the outstretched hand and pulled it forward to stagger Apocalypse. Immediately after he delivered a devastating punch to his face.
He was only using a minimal amount of power to match Apocalypse. He wasn't using any more power than necessary.
"I heard something". King mocked mocked while looking at Apocalypse laying on the ground.
Immediately, a laser was shot out of his eyes as soon as King's face appeared in front of his face but King dodged that as well.
He took a deep breath like Superman and chest started to inflate a lot. Then he breathed out with a lot of force to generate whirlwinds and a very cold breath that blew Apocalypse away and nearly froze him solid.
King as he is now, doesn't need to eat, sleep and breathe because he is provided all this by his own realm. So in a way, he is like the Juggernaut.
But he does all this just for the sake of it as it makes him feel alive. He doesn't want to forsake this feeling but it isn't a necessity for him anymore.
"I am first Mutant. You can never be stronger than me". Apocalypse was in disbelief after that round of smashing by King.
He floated up in anger and his body started to grow bigger and bigger. He even used surrounding metal to shape them into arrows.
He was using all his powers now. There was lightning around him and even a huge fireballs were floating around.
He was distorting space and was also creating vortices of wind all around the place. He was totally going mental now.
"Too can play that game". King laughed and Chastiefol that was tied to his neck like a necklace flew out and turned into countless daggers all around him.
There was also a sunflower form of Chastiefol at another place. The normal Boar Spear at another place and the cushion which he started to lay down on comfortably.
"Want to compare?" He laughed lightly and said teasingly. Apocalypse didn't answer him and just let all the attacks go towards King.
King also waved his hand and the countless daggers rushed towards Apocalypse like a Tsunami. The sunflower let out a beam of light and even Boar Spear started spinning like a bullet while moving forward.
The attacks collided and the surroundings were devastated from the resulting shockwaves. Debris and rubble flew everywhere.
Craters formed all over the place from the shockwaves of the attacks only and the attacks didn't even have to strike the ground itself.
The daggers made of Chastiefol easily passed through the blockade of attacks without taking any damage and surrounded Apocalypse from all sides.
"I would like to say that you are outnumbered". King spoke lightly and appeared beside the guy with a smile.
"How can you be so strong?" Apocalypse was in total disbelief after seeing that his attacks were easily countered without any resistance.
"Enough toying with you. Now I am bored". King yawned and used his Disaster divinity to literally disintegrate all of Apocalypse into Photons.
"*yawn*, good riddance". King yawned with a bored expression and dusted his hands before exiting the mirror dimension.
On the other side, Emma had also wrapped up the battle long ago and she was currently looking at a all of what looked like a person wrapped in ropes.
"Is this a fetish?" King pointed at Sparky and asked Emma.
"Just to contain him". She replied ordinarily but her eyes were twitching a bit. She felt a little embarrassed as well when she looked at her own masterpiece.
'To think I was feeling proud of this a while ago.' Emma nearly screamed when she thought of this but kept her face straight as much as possible.
"Right~." King replied in a sing song voice like he didn't believe her.
"Just don't use it on me and We good." King said lightly like a warning and flew inside the campus.
"Let me go the situation with others". King said and teleported out of there with Lopt.
Lopt usually lives in the Mansion under James' care and also occasionally travels around with him after turning his size into a puppy.
Even now, he was with the girls in the campus and was playing around with the young kids in the nursery.
With King's signal, it immediately left and took him to Jean for the first time. The battle here had also been quite fierce.
Jean has started to manifest Phoenix's powers and her look towards King has become progressively obsessive from before manifesting it.
'She feels like a Yandere or a Goudere to me. Hope it's the latter for my sake'. King prayed in his mind and got close to them.
"So how was the fight?" King appeared next to Jena and asked while looking at the devastation around the area.
"You are here." A beautiful smile bloomed on Jean's face like she got the most precious thing in the world.
"Yeah, so where's the guy?" King looked around and saw that there wasn't a trace of any antagonistic looking guy around here.
Scott was shivering in a corner along with some other mutants while Logan looked like someone ripped his skin off of him.
"He was badmouthing you". Jean looked down at the ground and just said this sentence.
The rest was naturally pieced together by King himself without any suspense at all. It was pretty obvious with her behaviour.
'So she disintegrated him in anger. The others are shivering after seeing this and Logan tried to pull off some cynical shit and got his skin ripped off as well.' King smiled wryly in his mind and stopped asking any further.
"Alright guys, let's wrap this up." King clapped his hands and James was instantly healed along with the mutants shivering in a corner.
"Our friends are here as well". King looked towards another direction and commented.
