Li Qianru's head was lowered and Chi Rong was calmly looking at his uncle.

In the end, Chi Rong's uncle was happy that Chi Rong was going to get married. He even said

They left soon as Uncle Chi had to rest as well.

She was about to answer his question but her eyes widened suddenly when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach.
She clutched her stomach and waited for the pain to go away. However, the pain didn't go away as per her expectation. It only increased and she suddenly felt everything go blurry in front of her eyes.
On the other hand, when Chi Rong didn't hear any answer from her side, he glanced at her only to see an unconscious Lin Qianru by his side.

The car made a screeching sound as he halted it immediately.
He patted her cheeks but she didn't move at all. Her forehead was covered with sweat just like that other day when she had gotten unconscious.

However, a smile couldn't help but emerge on her lips when she heard Shen Youlin say

Shen Youlin answered and looked at Song Xinyi with a frown on her forehead.
She wondered if Song Xinyi was still interested in her. However, her confusion ended the next moment when Song Xinyi stood up the next moment and announced.
"Shen Youlin, I am going to pursue you from now until you are willing to become my girlfriend."
Shen Youlin blinked as she registered Song Xinyi's words in her mind.
