Making Efforts To Make Her Fall In Love With Him
When Chi Rong got up, she also got up to leave and make arrangements for lunch.
However, before she could leave she heard Chi Rong saying
"Qianru, you should rest now."
Lin Qianru was hesitant on hearing Chi Rong. Looking at her hesitant expression, Chi Rong sighed and was about to say more when he heard her say
"Mr. Chi, I need to make some arrangements for lunch then I will be free to rest."
Chi Rong thought that it was alright. He thought it was to the best extent he could make her agree so he nodded his head and before leaving he ordered the butler to make sure that Lin Qianru would rest.
Lin Qianru had not actually thought of having rest.
She was thinking of checking her phone and looking for some kind of job she could do from home. Though she was aware that she couldn't do anything other than cooking, Qianru thought that it would not be wrong if she could take some home orders and deliver dinner to people's homes.
The food could be cooked by herself. She could earn more by this.
However, when she was making arrangements for lunch, she suddenly felt a very sharp pain in her stomach.
It was so sharp that her whole face went pale and thin beads of sweat started to form on her forehead.
She suddenly felt a little dizzy. She knew that it would pass within some moments.
So she waited as she clutched the counter and slowly slid down to the floor.
When the pain went away, she couldn't help but breathe heavily. Her whole body suddenly felt a lot weaker.
"Miss Lin…what are you doing here?"
Lin Qianru was startled when she heard the old butler's voice and immediately composed her expression.
"That…I was looking for my earing. I found it now."
The old butler however looked suspicious when he looked at Lin Qianru's pale face. He also saw how she was all sweaty. He sighed and understood why his master asked him to make sure that Miss Lin would rest.
So he told Lin Qianru the same.
Before Lin Qianru had decided to refuse, however, now she nodded silently and followed the butler to the room where she had rested before as well.
She really needed rest otherwise she would collapse.
Only she knew how she climbed the stairs because her legs were trembling. When she laid down on the bed, she unconsciously let out a sigh.
Her eyes were filled with tears when she looked at the ceiling.
She had never been greedy for anything but this time she was a little greedy to live more. She was afraid to leave her children alone at such a point in her life.
After going through Zhao Family's incident, Lin Qianru was afraid to leave her children alone before they were capable of taking care of themselves. Although her daughter was sensible and intelligent, in the end, how much could she handle?
She wished that God would give her more time so that she would be able to earn more and more and her daughter would not have to worry about anything.
With these thoughts, she didn't even get to know when sleep consumed her.

In the morning, Mo Roulan, He Jian, and Mo Chen had their lunch together. When she opened the door and found He Jian standing outside, she suddenly remembered what she had promised him yesterday.
However, she was calm.
According to her, He Jian didn't love her. Perhaps he was a little confused and these three months could help him in realizing this.
She moved aside making way for him to enter.
He Jian smiled and looked at her for a moment before he entered.
When Mo Roulan entered the dining room with dishes in her hands, he considerately stood up and helped her in setting the table.
He also asked about Lin Qianru seeing that she was missing.
When Mo Chen came and saw this scene, he felt a little happy. It would not be bad if both of them could get along like this.
With a smile on his lips, Mo Chen entered the dining room and greeted his sister and Brother He Jian.
Today He Jian was more chatty than usual days. Not only Mo Roulan but even Mo Chen felt that.
He asked Mo Chen about his studies and he looked very serious when he heard Mo Chen answering his question. He also praised Mo Chen and gave him a few suggestions saying just because he was better than his classmates he should not feel that he didn't need to do hard work.
"I understand, Brother Jian. Thank you."
Mo Chen said happily. He didn't feel that He Jian was being naggy. In fact, he felt warmth filling his heart when he saw that Brother Jian was thinking of him.
However, He Jian was only doing all this because of his grandmother's guidance.
His grandmother had told him that to win the heart of the girl he liked, he first need to make her trust himself. He also needed to make sure that her family would think highly of him so that they would not face any problems in the future.
If he would take care of her family like his then the girl would also be moved and might start to like him soon.
He Jian felt that his grandmother was reasonable and followed what she told him.
If Mo Chen knew what was going on in He Jian's mind then he would not have known if he should laugh or cry!
In the end, all this care had only been because of his sister. But he would have still felt happy that someone cared for his sister so much.
After finishing her breakfast, Mo Roulan first went to her room and packed the things in her purse.
When she was putting the schedule she had prepared for He Jian today, she suddenly looked at the designs she had prepared yesterday.
She bit her lips contemplating what she should do with them.
After a moment of thought, she put them as well inside her purse and left the room.
