CEO He : Please Don't Love Me

However, Mo Chen who was trying to find any change in his already cold and calm face, couldn't find any and soon he heard him asking him     

"How did you get to know?"     

"I saw him and my sister together."     

Mo Chen said honestly.     

He Jian nodded his head stiffly as he turned his head away from Mo Chen. Only then did Mo Chen notice how his fists were clenched tightly.     

Mo Chen closed his eyes as he looked out of the window.     

So he liked his sister but then why was he getting engaged to someone else! Mo Chen was very confused and didn't know if he should ask He Jian all these questions.     

However, as he pondered over all this, the car stopped outside his school.          

Soon Chu Feng opened the door for him and he had to step out of the car reluctantly.     

Mo Chen stood outside the car looking at the other side and sighed in relief when he saw He Jian coming out of the car from the other side.     

"Talk to your sister. Don't make her worry. If you are facing any problem just tell me. Do you know my number?"     

He Jian said to Mo Chen calmly as if the small conversation that had made him very uncomfortable never happened.     

Mo Chen nodded his head obediently.      

A constant question was roaming in his mind.     

Regardless of how much he tried to stop himself, he still blurted it out     

"Brother Jian, do you like my sister?"     

Not only He Jian but Chu Feng who was standing behind his boss was left startled by Mo Chen's question.     

He Jian looked at Mo Chen silently for a few seconds before he said to him calmly     

"Children should focus on studies."     

Mo Chen sighed in disappointment as he lowered his head. Chu Feng felt slight pity for him as he turned around to leave.     

  However, suddenly he turned around again and hugged He Jian's legs and only He Jian heard him saying     

"Brother Jian, I will be happy as long you and My sister will be happy …regardless of who both of you ends up with."     

After saying these words, Mo Chen ran to the school's gates leaving He Jian to ponder over whatever he said.

Inside the garden, Lin Qianru was sitting on a chair that was placed just beside Uncle Rong who was playing chess with Chi Rong.     

"Ha…your skills have rusted completely."     

Uncle Rong said to Chi Rong who lost to him in chess for the third time. Chi Rong chuckled as he said honestly     

"Uncle, you are forgetting but I never had any skills in Chess."     

And whatever he said was true.      

However, Uncle Rong glared at him and winked lightly. Chi Rong was confused by his actions and spoke out loudly.     

"What are you trying to say, Uncle?"     

Lin Qianru also looked between them curiously and Uncle Rong sighed helplessly as he glared and said     

"I am trying to tell you not to degrade yourself in front of the woman you are dating, Stupid. What if she started to regret dating you?"     

Chi Rong laughed loudly at that while Lin Qianru felt awkward but tried her best to fake a chuckle. Uncle Rong shook his head at his nephew's carelessness and said to Lin Qianru     

"Qianru, don't mind my nephew's bluntness. He is actually a very intelligent man. Isn't that why is able to manage such a big chain of restaurants?"     

This time, Lin Qianru smiled genuinely. When had she thought that the man who looked so calm and collected on their first meeting was so childish.     

"Uncle is saying right."      

She said with a soft smile on her face making Uncle Rong happy while Chi Rong raised his eyebrows as he asked Lin Qianru with a deep smile on his lips.     

"So you think that I am very intelligent?"     

Perhaps Chi Rong didn't seem to realize but his words made the environment slightly ambiguous between him and Lin Qianru.     

Uncle Rong who noticed looked very satisfied as if he was finally sure that both of them were dating while Lin Qianru could only nod her head awkwardly.     

However, she went stiff when she heard Uncle Rong saying     

  "I will start the treatment from tomorrow but I wish to see both of you to be already married by the time I would be done with my treatment."     

Chi Rong felt a little emotional when he heard these words from his uncle. A few days back, his uncle was not even ready to accept the treatment and now he was talking about getting well soon.     

He gulped as he nodded his head and promised without thinking anything     

"Yes, sure, I promise you."     

And Lin Qianru could only look at him with wide eyes.

When they left from Rong mansion, Lin Qianru looked very confused and serious.     

It was Chi Rong who was driving the car. Many times, she looked at him as if wanted to say something but then looked away.     

She was wondering if she should advise him not to promise the things to his uncle that he would never be able to complete.     

Won't it made his uncle hurt? In the future, the latter would never be able to trust him? But then she wondered if she was qualified to say something like this to him.     

So she stayed silent.     

So it was Chi Rong who first broke the silence inside the car.     

"Miss Lin, did you also receive the invitation card from He family?"     

"I did."     

Lin Qianru told him honestly.     

Chi Rong smiled and said politely     

"Then you must be going there too. I also need to go there. Should I drop you there?"     

Lin Qianru was surprised but then thought that it was normal that Chi Rong got the card. She then thought over his offer and glanced at her watch.     

It was already seven and it would be eight by the time they would reach City H.     

It won't look good if she would not attend the party at He family so if she could then she should attend it. Her clothes were though simple but fine to attend the party.      

So she accepted Chi Rong's offer and decided inside her heart that she would separate from Chi Rong after entering the gates of He Mansion and finding Mo Roulan.     

Chi Rong smiled and drove the car to He Mansion after entering City H.     

However, when he stopped the car and called Lin Qianru on seeing that she was not moving at all, he found that she was unconscious.
