Though she could feel that the charges will not be low, she still wanted to pay on her own and not owe this to He Jian. He had found a psychologist for Mo Chen and had arranged such a situation where her brother would not get to know about anything …it was already the best thing.
However, before she could ask him, the doors of the elevator open indicating that they had reached the ground floor.
She could still have asked but couldn't because she saw Shen Youlin standing in front of the elevator doors.
Since she had not seen Shen Youlin yesterday and not even during the breakfast, Mo Roulan's concern for Shen Youlin won over everything and she put everything else aside in her mind.
"Youlin"
Mo Roulan hugged Shen Youlin as soon as she stepped out of the elevator. Perhaps because this girl stayed too much around her that now Mo Roulan had become very habitual of her. If she would not see her for a day, she would feel that there had been something amiss in the whole day.
Shen Youlin was a little startled when she was hugged suddenly. The next moment, she felt happy. Suppressing the guilt inside her heart, she also raised her arms to wrap around Mo Roulan's waist and whispered playfully.
"Someone seems to be missing me a lot when I was not here!"
All this while, she felt a menacing glare on herself but she never turned her head to look in that direction as she knew very well who this person was.
She just didn't care if he didn't like Mo Roulan being close to her.
Though she still remembered her promise to her brother, it was not she who initiated this hug. It was Mo Roulan and she just couldn't refuse Mo Roulan when she had taken initiative.
Shen Youlin was happy because Mo Roulan's sudden gesture showed that she missed her a lot! It made her feel happy that she who couldn't make her place in the hearts of her own family members even after so many years had successfully made a place in the heart of the girl she liked.
She might not be in the place she wanted but it was also a good thing!
Perhaps it was just the start.
Her smile widened at the thought itself.
Mo Roulan moved away when she heard Shen Youlin's playful words. She rolled her eyes and said
"You think too much!"
And then she walked away from there though her lips had a smile. Shen Youlin also knew that Mo Roulan was just joking so she didn't argue and turned around to follow her silently.
On the other hand, behind both the girls, He Jian stepped out of the elevator with cold blue eyes. His eyes didn't move away from the two girls' backs as they jumped around together.
Somewhere in his eyes, a trace of annoyance could be seen when he looked at Shen Youlin.
He wished that he could take Mo Roulan somewhere away from where people like Shen Youlin won't be able to disturb both of them.
He Jian sighed in irritation as he walked toward his car.

"Mr. He, I will be going with Shen Youlin today."
He Jian had already expected this when he had seen Shen Youlin standing in front of the opened elevator.
But he still couldn't help but feel a little disappointed inside his heart as he looked at Mo Roulan. Her face was so calm as she said these words to him.
He really felt that the kitten was very cruel sometimes.
Unaware of his thoughts, Mo Roulan only saw He Jian's cold blue eyes narrowing at her. Honestly, it did scare her a little.
Perhaps because most of her past life, she had been so used of following He Jian's decisions, every time she would go against him or try to make some changes, she would feel slightly timid even though she didn't wish to.
Mo Roulan knew that she shouldn't.
She scolded herself inside her heart as she stood firmly in front of He Jian. Anyways, it was not the first time she was choosing to go in Shen Youlin's car instead of his.
And he couldn't be really that petty.
A few moments passed as Mo Roulan continued to think inside her mind this and that. And finally, she heard He Jian saying
"Alright."
He said just one word coldly and then bent down to sit inside his car.
The car drove away soon leaving Mo Roulan there.
Mo Roulan's heart was filled with complex feelings. She didn't ponder over it more and turned around to go to Shen Youlin's car.
"You are so great, Roulan."
Mo Roulan heard Shen Youlin saying this to her as soon as she sat inside the car, Surprised, she rasied her eyebrows and asked
"What great thing did I do to make you to say this?"
Shen Youlin's eyes were filled with playfulness as she said
"You make the cold slab run away."
It took Mo Roulan a moment to realize what Shen Youlin was saying and then she couldn't help but burst into the laughter.
Shen Youlin was happy to see her laughing freely. She liked to make Mo Roulan laugh and another thing was …that she liked to make fun of He Jian.
Since the moment, Shen Yiling had told her that He Jian liked Mo Roulan, Shen Youlin's resentment for the man had only increased.
Looking at the laughing Mo Roulan, she smiled softly as she started the car.
However, her hands unconsciously clenched the steering wheel tightly.
That feeling …that she was doing something wrong returned again but she very conveniently pressed it inside her heart.
'I am not doing anything wrong. I am just fighting for my love. After all…everything is fair in love and war.'
Shen Youlin's eyes were calm as she started the car for He Corporation.
