Rich People Problems

Rich People Problems

0Lu Fang's face could not be drawn. How could he have forgotten that the twins had no caregiver on Sundays? He could not ask aunt Rosa to look after the kids now, she and her daughter had been helping since this morning.

Chevre and Brie were in between their parents, trying to get some sleep. The man ordered, "Okay, now you two. Get some sleep."

The twins both shut their eyes forcefully that their nose wrinkled, but after just minutes, the little guy sang, "five little monkeys jumping on the bed…"

Brie burst into laughter saying, "Mommy, he's a monkey!"

"Shhh, no baby, your brother is not a monkey. Go to sleep now," said Andrea. "Chev! Sleep."

The two did the same again, closing their eyes, pretending to be asleep. However, the little girl's finger poked into her brother's back, instantly tickling him, and he laughed without control.

Lu Fang got up and picked up Brie, carrying her to the extended crib. "Because you tickled your brother, you are staying here. Mommy will look after you."

It was only after separating the twins that they soon fell asleep, but also, the man's wife dozed off with them.

Lu Fang told Gao Rou he would not come to work tomorrow, wanting to get more rest. Thus, he concluded again, he would get his reward when Karen, the nurse would arrive.

The next morning, Andrea woke up very early at five in the morning. She was crazy-hungry. She got up and asked aunt Rosa to fix her a good breakfast.

Sensing that her mommy was no longer next to her, Brie also got up and woke up her daddy.

Lu Fang was still very sleepy, that he thought of making Brie play a game on his phone, one that she had previously played with. "Baby, here play with your dog."

After getting her daddy's phone, she fed and bathed her virtual pet dog. An hour passed and Lu Fang finally was ready to get up. He heard Brie say, "Daddy, walk the dog."

"You want to walk the dog? Sure, baby, just click here," said Lu Fang before carrying her up and waking the little guy for a bath.

They had a joyous family breakfast together when the caregiver already came.

The man was excited to finally have alone time with his wife. He rushed Andrea back to the room and but then noticed immediately that his phone was missing from the bedside table. Just before they could start getting some smooching, Lu Fang wanted to make sure his device was found, in case of any emergency from the office. However, it was nowhere in sight.

He figured his little girl must have come back to get it. He went to the twin's room and saw Karen cleaning up Chevre. He asked, "Where is Brie?"

"I left her in the garden with uncle Jose. She said she wanted to take the dog for a walk?" Karen said.

The man quickly went down to the garden and saw uncle Jose, aunt Rosa's husband, watering the flowers. He instantly found Brie. The little girl happily exclaimed, "Daddy! Daddy! Walk the dog!"

He did not understand what she meant until he came closer. He gulped at the sight of his phone, tied with a string, being dragged from the ground.

"Brieeeeee," said the man, trying to control his rising temper.

When Andrea followed, she saw through her husband's ugly expression. He pointed out to her, "Your daughter is walking her dog."

Seeing how her princess pulled Lu Fang's phone with a string, she laughed altogether and picked up the device saying, "It's still working. Just a little splash of water! Haha! Who made her play with his phone to begin with, anyway?"

Shortly after, they had a surprise visit from Christina. She said to Lu Fang, "Your father told me to meet him at the club, but then I became confused. Which club he was referring to? If it was the yacht club, the country club or the polo club? Because I was already on the road, I figured I'd drop by here while waiting for your dad to answer."

When Christina went to change Angela, after a dirty diaper, the couple who were lounging in the living room, heard their mother calling, "Lu Fang? Andy? Come here."

They lazily walked up to Angela's room. They found Christina holding an adult pillow that Pillar must have been using. She said, "These pillows are expired. I bet your pillows are also expired."

"Pillows expire?" Pillar asked, confusingly.

Even Andrea did not realize that pillows expire. She said, "They still seem pretty comfortable to me, mom."

After Christina checked the couple's pillow and that indeed they were already expired, she suggested buying immediately.

Brie wanted to come along with her parents. Lu Fang and Andrea had not been to the mall for a very long time. Thus, they decided they wanted to have a normal shopping life without anybody following them around.

They were at the garage, deciding which car to take. Lu Fang as usual preferred the Maybach. Andrea just wanted to take a simple car, one that did not smell of wealth. She pointed out to the BMW sedan.

Lu Fang tried to win the battle of which car to bring, reasoning with his wife for a minute, but Brie's eyes glistened to the sight of Christina's convertible pastel pink Porsche. "Daddy! Nice car! I want to ride!"

The little princess naturally won the battle.

The couple and Brie went to the nearest mall and bought pillows, but because Brie was with them, they bought more than just pillows.

After they were done, Lu Fang stacked some pillows at the back, a few next to Brie's car seat. The man then opened the trunk to put in the additional pillows plus toys of Brie's choice.

Andrea who was already seated at the front heard her husband cursed, "F**k!"

Lu Fang was suddenly reminded of why he hated Porches. He learned this the hard way, after driving one to buy a sixty-inch TV when he was in college. He looked at his wife saying, "The rest of the pillows and the bags won't fit."

Only then when Andrea realized they were having a classic small rich people's problems, one that she had never experienced before, living on her own. She thought of asking the store to deliver the pillows, but she heard him say, "Let's buy another car."

There was no stopping her husband. It was because he was Lu Fang that he got the BMW SUV on display at the mall with no questions asked, and the couple drove separately on the way back.
