After breakfast, Feng Jianyu went back to his room and thought about Feng Junjie's words about Xiu Mei.
0'Food is boring without her….I am missing Sister Mei Mei'
'Really? Since how many days is he eating with her? Missing!!', Feng Jianyu shrugged the thought out of his mind and picked a document to read it.
When Xiu Mei woke up it was already 1:00 p.m. She looked at the time and ran at a speed of light towards her room.
'AHHHHHHHH...….'
'Xiu Mei, How can you sleep like a pig?'
'You slept till 1, seriously?'
'How can you forget there are guests in your house?'
'What will they think about you?'
'And CEO Feng's medicine?'
'You are good for nothing'
'Come-on now hurry up… get ready before it's too late'
'Fast… Fast… Fast…'
She kept on talking to herself.
Getting ready in record time, she looked at the clock which showed 2:00.
'Oh! Thank god it's not too late for lunch.'
Taking a sigh of relief she went straight to the kitchen.
"Uncle Tom! Prepare the food cart for CEO Feng… Uncle Tom?... Uncle Tom?", She called Butler Tom continuously.
Hearing her voice Aunt Mary came, "Little Miss, he already left for master's room to serve him lunch."
"Oh! Ok", She turned around and was about to leave when she saw Butler Tom returning back with the lunch.
"What happened? He again rejected?"
Butler Tom took a deep breath and nodded his head in disappointment.
Xiu Mei laughed at his reaction and took the cart, "Let me handle him."
After Xiu Mei left, Aunt Mary looked towards his husband and gave a meaningful look. Butler Tom just shrugged his shoulder and left with his wife.
This time when Xiu Mei entered Feng Jianyu's room with a food cart, their gaze fell on each other's face.
Xiu Mei gave him a shameless smile dragging the food cart along. Seeing that smile Feng Jianyu pursed his lips and rubbed his forehead.
'This girl is impossible'
He gestured with his hand towards the balcony, indicating her to set the table there.
Xiu Mei passed him a rice bowl but he shook his head, "This is yours, I will serve myself".
He indicated her to accompany him, which she complied nodding her head.
Like yesterday, they both had their lunch together but didn't talk.
When Xiu Mei was about to leave after giving him his medicine, he stopped her.
"I am feeling bored. Do you have a study here?"
He wanted to know about her, so gaining access to her study was the best place to collect some useful information.
Xiu Mei was shocked. She doesn't know whether to say yes or no. If she says yes then she might have to give him access to her study but if she says no, it will be considered stingy.
But the problem was that the way towards her study was through her bedroom. How can she allow a stranger to enter her bedroom and use her study? And how will she enter and exit her lab?
Watching her reluctant expression Feng Jianyu understood that he has hit the bull's eye by asking her about the study. Now he has to do something to make her say yes.
"I think you don't want me to use your study."His Eyebrows raised up.
" I…I...."
"It's ok if you don't want to, I won't force you. Although I would have used it only to read books. But it's ok....", He tried to act indifferent.
Xiu Mei "..."
'Both father and son are the same. He is using the same technique that his father used to convince me to let his son stay here.'
'Now see how I will use the same technique... I will also attack your guilty conscience.'
Xiu Mei made a quick plan in her mind.
"CEO Feng it's not the question of whether I want or not, it's more of how to give you access?", She replied fidgeting with her fingers.
"What do you mean?", Feng Jianyu did not understand what she meant by this.
She took a deep breath and said, "Come I will show you what I meant."
She thought he is such a virtuous man, entering a girl's bedroom freely will be against his principles. So she decided to take him inside her bedroom to make him might reject the idea himself.
Standing in front of Xiu Mei's bedroom door, Feng Jianyu frowned and asked, "Why are we here? Isn't this your bedroom?"
Hearing this Xiu Mei was delighted but she covered her excitement and turned towards him feeling abashed, "Indeed it's my bedroom but the only way towards study is through my bedroom."
Feng Jianyu "..."
She hesitatingly entered the passcode and invited him. This was the first time she was allowing a man to enter her bedroom. Even Butler Tom was not allowed to enter her room.
Feng Jianyu's condition was no different than Xiu Mei's. This was the first time when he will enter a women's bedroom. He stood at the door feeling ashamed of himself.
"CEO Feng?", Xiu Mei called him out of his trance.
He entered her bedroom reluctantly but was astonished. The entire place was color coordinated with white, grey and black color. Near the window, beautiful succulents were thoughtfully decorated giving a lively vibe. The use of air-purifying indoor plants on corners was lively.
The entire room was covered with Grey carpet to let walk barefoot.
In the corner right under the window facing east, a beautiful black swing gave a feel to enjoy a good book with the forest view, basking in the sunlight. All in one.
The white leatherette sofa arranged in two semi-circles occupied the lounger area. On the center table, an antique teapot with a variety of tea options looked elegant.
The huge chandelier gave a luxurious yet warm feeling accentuating the spacious round stairs to access the ground floor.
Feng Jianyu walked towards the edge of the railing and peeked downwards to see the study. She has covered half of the ground floor to make herself a library/study. Stacks and stacks of books are neatly arranged on the shelf.
Feng Jianyu suddenly thought of something and ran his eyes across the room. He frowned and turned towards Xiu Mei giving her a confused look. He wanted to ask but don't know how to.
Xiu Mei understood what he is thinking about and nodded her head, "Rest assured! I don't sleep on this couch. you can consider this as a lounge or a lobby to enter the library and my bedroom." she pointed towards a closed door. "My bedroom is there",
Feng Jianyu nodded his head.
"Let's go to the study", she led him downstairs towards the actual study.
He followed her and was dazed for a minute. She has a world-class study, filled with various books on computer, physics, mathematics, literature, and whatnot. There are thousands of options to read.
He walked towards a shelf but what caught his attention are not the books but something else. Then he casually walked towards another shelf and found the same thing. Stealthily he ran his eyes across the room and was shocked.
'How is this possible?'
