2Her thighs were in much better condition than her bosoms. Hardly had two scratches on her thigh so he first wiped her hair and then applied ointment to it. This time he did not tie her hair with a hair tie because she would have caught a cold.     1

"The first thing I will do after going home is to cut your nails." She didn't reply which caused him to pinch his nose bridge.     

He took the bag from the bed and took out a dark blue loose cotton gown that would reach just below her knees.     

"Raise your hands," He said softly.     

She looked at him for a moment and said in a thin voice, "Inner-wears." She had opened her mouth but that to ask for inners and that while also crying.     

"What? You want inner wears,"     

For a moment looking at her tears, he wondered from where she was bringing so many tears. Is there a dam of tears in her body? But did he have a problem with her crying self? and the answer was a big no he had no problem as long as the crying did not affect her health.     

"It is not good for you to wear a bra in such a condition. A bra may cause more pain to your wound." He lifted her hand and slipped her gown from his hand.     

"And panties."     

"I didn't think it was right to ask for panties from Ethan for you. I would never like any other person to bring panties for my wife. This is very personal for me. " This time he said in a harsh voice while putting her hand through her sleeve. Hearing this she bowed her head down.     

After dressing her he sat in front of her and gently cupped her face in his hands and tilled it up. "Don't cry. It is not good for the baby's health." She didn't answer him but wiped her face with the sleeve of her gown and stopped crying. That was more than enough for Alex.     

It also made Alex realize that he could persuade her for anything in the name of their baby.     

He got up from the bed and took his cell phone in his hand and texted someone again.

Ethan who was sitting in the corridor of the hospital. He took his mobile phone out of his pocket when he heard a beeping sound.     

"What the Fucking Hell is this." was his reaction when he saw Alex's message in which Alex had asked for clothes for himself this time. "What is this person doing? First, he asked for clothes for his wife and now for himself."     

He felt very irritated. "Fuck me, god." He cursed and stood up from the bench.

Alex was dressed in his new pair of clothes and looking handsome as always in a black shirt and dark midnight blue jeans. His damp hair was messy from which he repeatedly ran his hand.     

Ethan had also called Vijay Pratap and informed him that a car would come within ten minutes to pick them all up, so they should stand at the main gate. Ethan had already completed all the formalities so now they just had to leave the hospital.     

Alex looked at his wife who was still sitting quietly on the bed. It was clear from her behaviour that something was going on in her little head. He sighed and picked up his coat jacket from the couch. He moved closer to her and draped his jacket over her shoulders. Today's atmosphere was cold which was not all good for her.     

Placing one hand under her knee and the other on her back, he picked her up in bridal style. She didn't wait a second to hide her face in his chest. And placing her small hand on his strong chest she clenched the fabric of his shirt in her small fist. Her gesture brought a sweet smile to his lips and he tightened his grip on her.     

When they came out of the room, some doctors and nurses in the corridor of the hospital were doing their duty. Some people were walking in that corridor. As this was the most famous hospital and the best hospital in the city, it was natural that every section of the hospital was crowded. Avery immediately wrapped her arms around Alex's neck as soon as the sound of people reached her ears. Her breathing became hard. Her heart rate increased. She started panicking.     

Alex felt the wetness on his neck and her body began to tremble.     

Alex immediately sensed the change in her behaviour and moved his lips to her ear. He could sense that she was afraid of people and this was not a good sign.     

" Oh, dear everything is fine. I am right here. You need not be afraid my little flower. My little wife your husband is right here . " he began speaking nothing but sweet words in her ear. Soon they entered the elevator where Ethan was the only person other than the two of them.

Alex was sitting next to Avery with his arm wrapped around her shoulder. Her head was on his chest and she was looking at her hand which was in Alex's other hand. His thumb was constantly circling her palm giving her a soothing feeling. They were both silent for the entire drive. When the car stopped, Avery lifted her head from his chest and looked out the window. They had reached the airport and their car was parked near Alex's private jet. She also spotted her mother and grandfather talking to Ethan. Ethan had come in the car ahead of them so he had reached the Airport before them. Alex reached out to unlock the door to get out of the car.     

Before he could open the door, Avery grabbed his arm. He narrowed his eyes and looked at her. "what happened dear?"     

"I don't want to face my mother." He sighed and closed his eyes for a second. " Little one why are you acting like you committed a crime?
